If Bobby is fit to be on the bench I'd prefer to start him rather than bringing him off the bench which would suggest we're not winning and have to go for it to get 3 points.
Bobby was obviously carrying the injury when only making the bench but playing 20+ minutes at Salford we were told his injury needed a couple of weeks you'd hope with it being an injury under his foot they could pad it and take the risk. I'd hope Bobby starting along with a choice of Walker, Leigh, Lapslie, Khela or Smallwood isn't a bad starting midfield and would be too good for Tranmere.

Bobby gets the whole left side ticking and we missed that last week.

Let's see if the Bradford public see it that way too and we have 18/19,000 in attendance if they can't get to Valley Parade for a game like this then I'd be very disappointed, Tranmere will possibly bring 1000, if our 14,000 or so season ticket holders turn up then we only need 3,000+ to POTD.

    Don't be silly.

Not sure if it's been mentioned on here, but Notts keeper Alex Bass who has been one of the best keepers in the league this season looking at the data, he went off injured last night.

Their back up is Sam Slocombe who is now 36 years old and was their keeper in the National League. He played 14 games last season in L2 but they quickly discovered he wasn't up to scratch anymore, conceding 29 in those 14 games and keeping just 1 clean sheet. Theres no confirmation on the Bass injury yet, but he was on the pitch at full time in a support boot and using crutches. Having to go an unfit backup at this stage could be a promotion killer for Notts.

Yeah, but more worryingly, there slump coincided with McGoldrick being sidelined with a hamstring. He came back on last night as a late sub, and guess what, he scored. I think with him back they will win more than they lose with him and Jatta up front.

Based on todays press conference it doesn’t sound like any of Patto, Bobby or Sarce will be back anytime soon .

I think that subject to injuries, the same starting 11 from Cheltenham match. Seemed to work ok in that one, why again?

He’s not going to give much away, keeps the opponents guessing for this weekend and the future.

Well he said “four or five weeks” for Patto and he said that Pointon still isn’t training yet.
    He wasn’t asked about Sarce.

I find that odd, Jamie usually asks about all the injuries, especially ones to key players. Was he asked not to ask for some reason?

I look at it like this, he can respond to the questions from Jamie or not , but always see through the spin. Spin for public consumption , spin for opposition consumption. It’s the oldest trick in the book!

Of course he can but in this case, the question wasn't asked at all. That's unusual from Jamie because as I said, he normally asks for updates on all key players that are injured and I can't believe it just slipped his mind.

Right. I didn't post this at the time because I'm sure it is absolute b#ll#cks, so please don't believe a word of it. But, a fellow City fan told me earlier this week that he had been chatting with someone loosely connected to the club. He told him that Sarce had an operation last week and is out for the season, and that Bobby has a broken bone in his foot. I am sure if any of this was true something would have come out by now.

It could be true. However, jeopardising the well earned connection with fans and the club would seriously be damaged if we are not told the extent of injuries. I am not sure what operation would correct a “stretched” hamstring ie not torn. Perfectly possible that Bobby has a bone in his foot broken. I can’t remember who but when I was talking about bruising to the underside of his foot another person on here pulled me up and implied it was worse than that. I can’t believe it is still bruising tbh.
