It's at Salford not at Donny on Tuesday mate that's why I fancy Salford to get something even more now especially after last night's result

 

Sadly Salford are almost the opposite of us.

High up the away league table, but only have the 15th best home record.

 

Just watched a bits of the Notts game back they set up similar to us 3-4-3/ 3-4-2-1 with wing backs but a left footer on the right and a right footer on the left. Nearly everything goes through ex city loanee Matty Palmer. Mcgoldrick has basically a free role dropping deep. Jatta looks a handful but if out muscled like he was last night with Curtis tilt then he seems to go missing. Stopping Palmer and Mcgoldrick from playing then I can't see them being a threat tbh.

Hopefully by 2.20 today we are 8 PTS clear from them anyway

 

True but they have got 2/3 back recently from injury and seem to have a couple of quick and trickery forwards who looking on last night's game could cause many teams problems. I didn't think much to their midfield though.

Have to hope the Notts Co board don't bow to fans pressure and sack Maynard before next Thursday and bring back Luke Williams. Most of their fans reckon their squad would have walked this league if still under Williams

 

It’s too late , same for Walsall whose fans also want Sadler gone. On last nights display play offs are their likely option? On another note Williams plays tippy tappy…long proven that it doesn't work in this division?

Last night their first half possession stats were very impressive….with just ONE wayward shot on goal the entire half. Watching Platt endlessly kicking it sideways …oh my?

 

We definitely got the best 'swap' with Baldwin for Platt in my opinion for the way GA wants us to play.

 

More than that though, Salford had little problems in passing through or round them and creating more than enough chances to win the game. If I didn't know the clubs I would have said Salford are closer to the top. Let's hope County play like that against us.

 

Hope does not equate at this point in the season, we simply have to be on top of our game for the remaining games.
Against Fleetwood we want to be cheering on the team as champions.

 

Salford on that showing have something to play for still which is good news for us as they have Donnie

 

What size screen is it. Is it likely to be big enough to get a decent view?
I’m wondering whether to walk up the hill to Bar 12 or drive to the Ringers.
I assume the Malt Shovel and The Angel will be showing the Man City game.
