I said yesterday dons are favourites . Walsall won’t touch em with their 9 man defence , so can dons break em down at Wembley. Strange though because I thought it would be County and Chesterfield in the final originally. They both imploded at the wrong time!

    I said a few weeks ago ;)

"1 nil Wimbledon" were always the trickiest play off opponents in my view.

Notts have been completely impotent across both legs.

Their obsession with possession for possessions sake is daft. It's dull and ineffective.

But hey, at least Matty Platt joined a team that has gone places over us.

I've never seen Sam Walker feign injury. He does go down to smother the ball which, to me, is legitimate. He has been booked a couple of times but I've never seen him do what the Fleetwood keeper did all afternoon the other week.

I bet Dons think they have won the lottery .

County both goalscorers missing , playing tippy tappy at the back when 0-2 down .

County defence all over the place , Platt “ lost” as he’s nobody to mark and left chasing shadows running from deep .

All in all abysmal County . Another season in L2 when they thought they would walk into L1 .

    A funny old game eh?

Walker has definitely done it a few times, there were a few times during the season in away games which I can remember him doing it. The one home game I can remember was the Grimsby game when he timed it very well. He went down about 5-10 minutes after Grimsby scored to pull one back and we were under a lot of pressure, we then got control of the game back and got a goal that killed off the game.
Sam Walker is probably one of the best I've seen at wasting time but doing it in a way that doesn't get too noticed. How he didn't get a yellow card in the Swindon or Birmingham game I'll never know

Yeah all keepers do it. Its infuriating but not unique to any one team or keeper

Bass has kept the score down.

Probably should be playing a league up to be fair to him.

As it stands over the 2 legs Notts County have averaged 67% possession and had 25 shots, in the first leg they can probably say they were a bit unlucky as Goodman was brilliant but today I don't think he's had a real save to make.

If you are Walsall you'd probably have preferred to play Notts with the way they set up to keep the ball whereas Wimbledon are happy without the ball and defend very well so the counter attack opportunities will be limited for them.

Notts County with possibly the worst playoff performance I’ve ever seen. Bet Platt wishes he accepted our offer

The Notts County manager has a face that I'd never tire of pummelling.

The twitter thread of County posting the score is full of City fans with a picture of their manager shushing our fans.

Couldn't have happened to a "nicer" chap.

Wimbledon to win the final for me. Just cannot see Walsall breaching the Dons defence.

Looks like a dour final. But Wallsall have been written off a lot in last few weeks they may just do it. Today suited Wimbledon to a tee sit there and wait for openings. The final will be different

Happy that it’s them two in the final. They’re the smaller two clubs with smaller budgets and further away geographically. Were unlikely to be fishing in the same pool as we would have been with the other two.

Yes I’d rather be competing with those two than Notts or chesterfield next season. I think Walsall would be well out of their depth and go straight back down. Wimbledon could be OK as they’re so solid in defence
