    It's part of the requirement of the EU's GDPR, the UK data protection laws, Califonia's CCPA and the various other such laws coming that we need to allow you to be able to change your privacy settings whenever you want. While technically this site is exempt as the the income it generated and the number of people who can be considered staff is too small most of the 3rd party services we use (which is why we need to ask consent) require we get consent. It should have always been there as Google ads have it built in but for some reason it doesn't show most of the time neither did the consent popup (the ads stopped working yesterday due to a google change which I think played a part as no-one was being asked to choose between personalised and non-personalised ads) so we switched to a 3rd party solution that integrates with Google and most other 3rd party services we use.

    Is there some specific issue you are having with it!? I might be able to make it smaller, maybe just an icon or maybe just collapsible or maybe change the position depending on what the issue with it is

    The position is the main issue for me. I already suffer from fat finger syndrome and have already opened it a few times inadvertently.
    Perhaps move it elsewhere and collapse it somehow please.

    I think collapsible is the best option... So it's there if needs be but not noticeable

    It is rather big in mobile for something that will probably never be opened

    I may add a temp fix for some of you and disable the consent form for those of you who are Premium members, while we have other 3rd party services that we really need the consent form to cover its mainly Google at the moment who have been raising warnings for non-compliance so if we aren't even loading the Google ad code for you as a premium supporter we can maybe get away with you not seeing and agreeing to 3rd party cookies for the time being
