Pre-season update

Hopefully so. I thought Sutton looked good at the beginning of T&S's winning run. He got his tackles in but cut down on the wild stuff. His pace off the mark allowed him to steal possession and break oppo lines and he got a couple of decent goals. His form tailed off later, but then so did nearly everyone else's. I can see him being a useful player under Adams, even if he isn't the most technically gifted.

Agree with that. He has energy and a disruption factor, but is frustrating with his use of the ball - poor control and seems to run into people. If he based his game around a high energy style of winning the ball back and giving it to more creative players, he could be an asset

That's last season. My reference to last season was about the capability of Bowyer and the capability of Adams. Both are able managers, both clubs have potential but as we stand, both have failed to fulfil ambition in the last two seasons.

Start well, probably top three until late November, drop off badly, sack Boreya in Feb, recover a bit. Finish eighth.

We will see Dave , more than happy either way. I need to sort out when we can get up. ( I do miss the matchday atmosphere. Dolly, North Parade etc) although away games have different attractions I like.
