    I dont see them as favourites unless they change their entire squad. They were nothing to write home about against a poor Bradford City last season. Perhaps I’m biased?

    We were certainly nothing to write home about though and they finished above us.

    Think it’s too early to write them off as they will make moves in the transfer market.

    So are we all saying no excuses for us not to go up automatically then?

    Promotion is both the club's aim and Adams aim autos would be great especially as Champions but promotion would be acceptable.

    Whenever has there ever been a walk in the park promotion is the aim but don’t kid yourselves it will have to be hard earned against other teams with bigger budgets

    That's a reasonable write up Fordy and for those whom write off Bowyer, he's capable. Salford defeated Derby yesterday, just like us whom beat a championship club.

    And Salford did fine, under Bowyer.

    Like for like results at L2 (last 11 games)

    Morecambe PL 11 w 7 d 1 L3 GD 10 PTS 22
    Salford PL 11 w 6 d 2 L 3 GD 8 PTS 20

    Now, I've said this before. I'm awaiting more news on the whole league before making a call on the whole league. Let's be honest, there are 24 teams in this league. Cambridge, Morecambe last season.

    I’m not a huge fan either. However, every player gets a clean start with Adams at the helm. I expect us to have a much more coherent and well drilled system, which might unlock a level of performance/consistency we’ve not yet seen in some.

    Ideally its automatic but if we go up through the back door then so be it. Id take any promotion. I honestly think Adams is the right man for this.

    I think that's only your interpretation.
    I haven't seen any poster make such a comment, but those who have been to pre-season games are happy at the way we have performed.

    I don’t care how we go up, auto or play offs, but curious I never mentioned promotion whatsoever .

    If you read my post I said “ against a poor Bradford City last season”

    That makes Salford just slightly better than poor right?
