Not really.

Plenty of teams have had great pre seasons and then struggled in their first 10 games. You are seeing far to deep into it.

It's important as its an extension of training but you can't read into it.

 

None matter.

Pre season is just an extension of training and about fitness like Steve Bruce said.

What QPR going to win the championship now because they battered Man Utd? Rangers going to win the CL because they beat Real?

When the season starts let’s judge Bradford City until then people need to understand that pre season means nothing.

Least the season starts soon and we can get down to real business.

 

You said it was purely about fitness originally. Our manager has said it is far more than that.

The results count for nothing but winning helps. It helps the players and the manager mentally - you dont seem to be able to grasp that.

I dont care about Newcastles pre season preparations - why do you?

 

Blackburn aren't far off if we're talking about clubs in a mess yet we're happy to big up our result even though they started without 9 senior players and ended the game with what was no more than an u23/u18 squad?

 

Watch the Salford , Derby highlights. I did , one pen and a great cross and header won it. Other than that Derby battered them throughout . The first half 11 Derby put out were well known CC players not kids. The gulf was plain to see but credit Salford, they got the two chances and scored.

 

Derby are in a right mess and I agree should be relegated.

Yes Derby dominated possession but I'm willing to bet that Blackburn also had a decent amount before they started subbing the younger players on.

You're right, I think Gibb is missing an opportunity there...

 

Really? Give back £400k a year for sponsorship with a league two football club?

That doesn't seem very likely to me.
