    Correction! He got us to Wembley using a squad Phil Parkinson left him with.
    It wasn’t his own work. We saw what happened when it was the season after

    There’s nothing wrong with a team building trip which could involve fans. It’s not as if hundreds of fans will be there.

    Yes he got sacked whilst in the play offs with a chairman who meddled in things. For a chunk of that season we were superb

    Fact like it or not, Stuart McCall took Bradford City to Wembley in League One something Phil Parkinson didn't achieve.

    Stuart improved the squad that Parky built and took it a stage further than PP could manage - an offside goal and a Billy Clarke miss away from Championship football.
    Had that playoff squad been reinforced the following season, as it should have been, we'd likely have got automatic promotion. Instead the maniac Rahic was obsessed with acquiring and playing untried kids who would supposedly gain in value. He allowed key members of the squad to leave, replaced them with duds and failed to reinforce an injury-ravaged squad in January 2018. No manager could have succeeded working under Rahic, as was subsequently proved with several others.

    Crap that Parky wasn't he. Only ever took us there in the league two final and a major cup with direct European qualification.

    Should have sacked him in 2012.

    Stuart inherited (I think) roughly 8 players when he walked in the building. Plus there wasn't any backroom staff. He (and Greg Abbo) built a team that summer that got us to Wembley. Fair enough there was a spine of a good team left from PP. But to suggest he took over anything remotely resembling a full squad is laughable.
    Rahic saw fit to dismantle the team that nearly got us there because, as we all know, he knew football

    Youve never read that comment on any of my posts @Ulysses S Grant@Ulysses S Grant, Phil Parkinson was a breath of fresh air and gave us 5/6 seasons of success IMO ranked amongst the best managers I've see at Valley Parade, but the fact is unfortunatly Parky didn't achieve what McCall did, I do believe if Rupp and his conman sidekick Rahic hadn't bought us season 2016/17 could have seen us achieve Championship football.
