    Listen our boys were fantastic out there tonight considering the wind and rain we take a lot of positives into a very tough cup match on Saturday it wasn't till their third goal went in that I thought we were out of the contest My focus is now on the Tonbridge game they have a lot of players who are above the standard of the league they are in Am hopeful to have Kurtis back to negate some of their attacking threat I have full confidence we can find a formation to make it difficult for them

    • Due to a problem with the lap top I ended up scouting Morecambe, how was I to know they were both called the shrimpers!
    • We hadn’t expected the pitch to be so heavy.
    • Playing two games in four days has taken too much out of the lads.
    • We had actually planned the match for Wednesday evening.
    • Kenny hadn’t charged up the i-pad.
    • We are only getting to know each other as a team.
    • VAR would clearly have given us two penalties.
    • It was the wrong sort of rain.
    • Clayton’s choice of music unsettled the lads.
    • The ball boy gave them the ball too quick.

    - The boys have been really sharp this week in training
    - 'I'm happy with our strikers'/gets angry at being asked why we didnt sign anyone good
    - Judge us at the end of the season
    - I've been in the game 40 years I might know a thing or two

    It's not easy playing teams you've
    never played before.They won their
    last game 5-0 so we knew it would
    be tough! We did our homework but
    we were unlucky and they just had too
    much for us.

    We'll be back on the training ground Monday,
    we won't let their heads drop,there's always next
    season,the laughter and ridicule should be over
    by then and maybe we'll get a more favourable draw !
