    There are lots of possible departures and big decisions required when it comes to shaping the squad for next season. As the euphoria dies down, we can't dismiss how poor our away from was, how close we came to not making it up and how much work the squad needs to be properly competitive in League One.

    Adaramola, Khela, Shepherd, Mellon, Benn will obviously have their loans end.

    Sam Walker, Crichlow, Kelly, Jamie Walker, Lewis Richards, Johnson, Huntingdon, Smallwood all out of contract.

    Personally, I'd be keeping Sam Walker, Kelly, Richards and Smallwood, and letting the others go. I'd hope we can keep Adaramola and Khela for another season - and I think that'd be ideal for their development. I'd love us to sign Shepherd permanently but he'll be in the Barnsley side next season.

    So I think we'll need a couple of Centre Backs bringing in - possibly 3, and I don't think Byrne is good enough. Leigh, Oliver. Smith, Odour should be moved on. We'll need cover for Halliday, but we need proper investment in midfield and up front. We need Rupp to get his cheqbook out and make sure we're not going into League 1 to be whipping boys or making up the numbers.

    Oliver's contract is finished, if I recall correctly.

    Agree with most of it otherwise @Faithful Bantam@Faithful Bantam . I think Crichlow and/or Kelly could be kept but with Byrne contracted for another season, it's hard to justify another back up.

    Similarly Leigh. He's got a long contract and won't be going anywhere. Just gotta hope GA can get something out of him next season. That's of course, if GA himself stays. The Preston rumour worries me. He's got a strong connection there. And before you say you're still not convinced by GA, I'd suggest that our biggest assets for our first season back in League 1 will be continuity and the squad mentality of this season.

    I agree, the only one I would keep is Jamie Walker, I know he is not in favour atm, but he is the type of player that can change a game.

    You might be right about Oliver. I'm not convinced by all of GAs decisions, but I certainly wouldn't want him going anywhere. I agree, continuity is essential.

    Nows the time to invest in quality over quantity, get 5 or 6 real quality players and we should be fine. We may even push straight for the playoffs if we show ambition in our summer recruitment.

    Looked like he was saying bye when he went to the kop ............if he was fit all the time i would give him a deal but sadly you cannot trust his body to see out at least 30 games ...............and in all honesty without being harsh is a few injury prone players around the place

    No room for sentiment next season, we literally scraped over the line after a poor end of season run. I want to be looking at a serious go at promotion in league 1 next season and that means a better quality of player unfortunately.

    Wouldn't it be great to really have a go? Strong ST sales, that finish yesterday, a real sense of unity amongst the fan base. Never be a better push in terms of momentum. Why can't we do what the likes of Stockport have done?

    Well, if you're saying we need our owner to invest, I agree. And it's what I expect. Pump a million or two in to fund fees for quality players.

    Some good teams n league 1 looking forward to better away followings better stadiums (on the whole) and better atmosphere- main aim stay up but we could quite easily kick on but we need a lot of new players
