    Former player Paul Heckingbottom (2003-4 & 2007-9) with a 100+ appearances for City, is apparently taking over from Chris Wilder at the Blunts. Had spells as Barnsley and Hibs as manager and a small outfit east of Pudsey.
    As ever wish him well unless our paths cross, with him in charge of the opposition.

    Wilder did a good job getting them up.....and keeping them up for a second and last season.

    Sounds like Wilder decided he wouldn't accept a director of football and unfortunately, regardless of history club owners won't accept that.

    Football and structure in clubs has moved on and if Wilder won't accept that he's not getting another job in the PL and maybe not even any of the bigger championship clubs.
