I should have mentioned I agreed with the gist of the post.

Parkinson back? Would Allenby come with him?
That would be as tempting as Parkinson but in
reality would bringing him back replicate what he
did before? Sorry,I doubt it but have in desperation,
changed my vote to say yes as manager......it's what
Bradford do right?

Our club is a mess behind the scenes and on the pitch, Parky saw the sinking ship coming when he met Rahic and Rupp, it’s why he got out. Rahic may be gone but behind the scenes is still a joke. 29 year old CEO who has happily let a failing manager get a new contract and Rupp is still here.

Parky won’t risk his career for our club, our club is where he built his success, he’s no reason to want to come back, his career is different to how it was when he became manager last time and our situation is far worse behind the scenes than it was last time we were staring down the relegation barrel in League Two.

Parky will never return to Bradford City in any capacity.

I would love to be wrong and see him return in any capacity though.

 

Before I settled here for good I watched Colchester Utd where Parky did wonders in taking them to the Championship for 2 seasons. He was at City when I started coming to Valley Parade , and I treasure those years. I understand people not wanting to taint Parky’s history but that didn’t stop Mc Calls return.! City could so easily follow York and Torquay if they don’t act soon. We should be so lucky that he’d consider us. I think Sunderland were mad to sack him but it could be City’s salvation.
