Any comment yet from Bowyer? Also, any videos of what happened?

 

Being relegated before the end may give us time to begin to sort next season and get a head start for next season.

Whoever we want as manager we have to get it done early and give them an idea of their budget for next season. They can then being talking to players who will become free agents and make decisions on our players. At the minute it’s still all short term

 

That's the next question. What will our budget be for next season? Can't imagine we have any flexibility other than using the dross still contracted to us. *shudders*

It was weird @Storck, Pulse said O'Brien should have put his chance away it was that easy, Bowyer just said to Jason Thornton O'Brien didn't get to the ball their defender did, so it should have been a corner.
Instead Oxford take a quick dead ball kick (apparently with players in the penalty area) Oxford forwards break and score.
The referee then has a word with the linesman and points to the penalty spot. Doyle gets the ball to take the penalty and the referee then decides to go to the other linesman have a word then over rules the decision for a penalty and allows Oxfords goal.

Funny old game @Damo but whether we deserved anything or not to have lose a goal scored against us then to get it over ruled and award City a penalty and to then for the referee to converse with the other official and allow the Oxford goal is a bit of a kick in the nads, the penalty was the first incident so the original decision should have stood it's either a penalty or it isn't, if that linesman gave the penalty which some who were watching the game on Ifollow said he didn't raise his flag so why say it was a penalty after the event, if he's been stood with his flag up and the referee missed it that would have been totally different.

Just seen the tackle on LOB and IMHO it was not a penalty.

NKP goes walkabout and their lad smashes it in. Deserved win if you look at the stats for the game.
