Decent set of results from the 3pm games with only Stockport out of the top sides to get a win. It really is a tight division with 10 points separating the last play off spot and last relegation spot.

At the moment it looks like Cardiff could run away with it then you've got us, Lincoln, Bolton and Stockport fighting for 2nd spot. Bolton play Stevenage on Tuesday night so could do with Stevenage finding a bit of form although that is looking very unlikely at the moment.

 

I said to the wife at Christmas, with our mid Jan to mid Feb, we will either sink or swim. We are either in an autos battle or a play off battle come the end of the Stockport match I said at the time and I kinda think the same now.

We need to start getting some results in the next 2 or 3. Not necessarily wins(although that should be the aim) but not letting the pack catch/close gaps. I think Luton come good and take one PO spot and someone will fall off. Hopefully our lads who are realistically punching above their weight dont falter.

Damaged limitations today after losing. Could have been a lot lot worse, but still 3 points behind Lincoln with a game in hand is good. Let's be honest most of us would have been happy with us sat in 12th after last season so where we are is a real bonus. I doubt our wage bill is half of alot of teams in an around us. Luton, Huddersfield and Cardiff's will be 3 and 4 times ours and only one of them is above us.

I do hope Lee Grant is still manager next week, as that leaves us in a no lose scenario. If Town were to beat us he would save himself until the end of the season and they are going nowhere with him. If we were to win well that would be simply simply lovely.

I've got money on Lincoln so Burton are bound to win or draw.
