Another striker that Ritchie Wellens is getting the best out of, before this season Ballard had a record in league 1 of 6 goals in 45 games across 3 loan spells and across all competitions it was 9 goals in 72 games

 

And our players have a rest after quick turnaround of games plus more time for injured players, Power doesn't get booked and misses the Cardiff game, today was a plus for us.

 

I actually don't mind a postponement as long has I can read stuff........

We need to hope Grant is still there when we play Town in two weeks time, very toxic there, the fans are restless. Town and Stockport were both average today, Town perhaps deserved a draw. Alves and the new lad they signed on loan look good and the centre halves won a lot of headers, but they created little and had nothing up front for us to fear. Fancy our Bobby to score again, maybe Sarc too!

really put a spring in my step tonight. buzzing that Leo Castledine’s gone too after they all got giddy when Chelsea said they wouldn’t recall him.

similarly good to see Bolton continue to struggle on the road and lose again- fans turning on Schuey there. Another set of arrogant fans saying they were coming for us. Far too reliant on a loan player there too.

If we were to land a good loan player this month and come through next four games still in the hunt, there’s no reason to think we aren’t genuine top two contenders.

 

I'm of the opinion we need not think of the muts but ourselves. The table doesn't lie and we are where we are on merit. The muts , Grant or no grant are very beatable.

They're 4th for Christ sake, not 4th bottom. Yes, the football may be rubbish but they're well in the hunt for promotion. Perhaps not automatic but certainly play offs. Believe it or not, other clubs won't roll the carpet out, lie down and have their tummy ticked for the oh so mighty Huddersfield.

Who do they think they are and where has their incredible sense of entitlement come from? "Oooh look at us we fluked two years in the Premier League and now this is all below us" (coigh cough, been there done that).
