He's doing a lot better than Pattison, who seems to have quickly dropped out of favour at Walsall. Used as a late sub in the last couple of games and not even in the match day squad tonight.

 

I watched the last half hour of the orient game and their performance looked night and day from Saturday. They were under the cosh but seemed pretty composed and Ballard was a real menace. We did very well to keep him quiet on Saturday.

Brilliant results tonight but for Plymouth but they're probably too far behind to be catching us unless we totally go to pieces

I watched the second half . He was outstanding ….Just shows how good Baldwin was on Saturday. He had Pergianni and Goode chasing shadows . He should have had 4 .

Cardiff have my favourite fans in League one, but I'm still willing their team to bottle it over the next few weeks.

 

Thing is, they need to keep winning though because they picked up after such a poor start. A couple of draws and they're mid table again. Need to win their next 4 or 5 games in a row to push into the play offs

 

He's been playing off the striker whenever I've checked them out. Came off the bench in the 10 at the weekend and looks to have started there last night.

I’m not. We’re not getting into the auto places unless Cardiff and Bolton collapse and our away form improves dramatically. The chances of both those things happening are very small.

Cardiff play Wycombe, Huddersfield, Bolton and Reading amongst their remaining games. I want to see Cardiff give them all a good hiding and do damage to their GD as well as their points potential.

 

I think Cardiff did rather a lot of squad rotation . I watch a bit of the first half then Barnsley took control . I turned over for Stevenage and they were gash. Well done Orient . Wish we had Ballard. He’s CC bound ?

Sounds like the wheels have fallen off the bus again at Walsall, Sadler sacked this morning.

 

1 win in their last 11, pretty sure they were near the top at xmas.

 

Where have we seen that before ? Walsall promoted at Xmas ?

 

After the boxing day games they were 1 point clear at the top and since then they've picked up 10 points from 14, they've not even got the excuse of losing their top scorer as Daniel Kanu didn't end up being recalled by Charlton but he's only scored 3 in 12 since new year. At this stage it has to be a big mental problem within the club and it's hard to see how they recover from it this season. This collapse looks worse than last season as it has started earlier and whereas last season they were picked up a lot of draws to keep the points ticking over this season they are losing a lot more

 

They must be guaranteed a play off place. One of their posters wrote; "Bradford are shit, I hope we get them in the play offs".

 

Agree, we may get into playoffs in spite of the poor away form due to winning at home. But we can't be going into the playoffs unable to buy a win away even when faced with a really poor side, no other teams around us seem to have this problem. It has to be addressed and soon
