    Dunno about that, a game against a near Lancashire rival where we always travel in big numbers. Always enjoy Oldham apart form the bitter cold.

    Yes Corn Dolly coach, I really can't be arsed getting train tickets etc and then finding a pub and all that, daughter drops me and the grandson off at Corn Dolly 10ish let the coach driver take the strain CAMRA pub straight into the ground, same coming out on the coach daughter picks us up at Mayo Morrison's job done :thumbup:.
    Tickets arrived today, don't know why they were sold to priority first the away end holds 3,750 enough for the fans who want to go.
    Apparently stopping off at The Carrion Crow a CAMRA pub.

    Quicker to get to Boundary Park than VP for me
    It's a cold desolate place 2nd only to Grimsby
    After Carlisle match performances will have to improve before

    Four and a half miles down the road for me this one. Much closer than the trip to VP every other week.

    But given the current play I still had to consider if I would go. Would normally be a no brainer.

    That being said, I'll be there.

    Seen him a few times on Tv for Fylde, despite his goalscoring record there, never impressed me, looks like an overweight, slow sunday league player, a bit like Andy Cook, who was shocking recently at VP for Mansfield. I think the jump to league 2 will be beyond Rowe

    There isn't much of a jump from National league to league 2,how many teams promoted from National league struggle when they get promoted,very few.However,with his goal scoring record at Fylde,i am surprised he has not been snapped up earlier,so maybe some managers don't rate him.

    That's just it, he should have been snapped up two years ago.

    Now he's 29 and he's not scoring at non league level much anymore. He's scored 6 goals in 28 league appearance this term...

    Maybe worth a gamble considering the frequency he was scoring with in previous years, but it seems like Oldham have just paid for a player on old data.

    Maybe they've looked at Doyle's renaissance at Swindon and are hoping for similar with Rowe.

    Agreed, just the £8 for my son but even though he's paid for it, he doesn't know if he's definitely going, yep, football related!
