Officially the worst start in our history...

I’m looking for some scrap of comfort that could turn the season around but i cannot find anyrhing at this moment. We’ve had bad runs in the 40 years ive watched them, this feels as bad as any of those, especially going from what was a progressive club to a deeply regressive club in a relatively short space of time. The only way i can see the mood changing is if Rahic relinquishes ownership, something that probably won’t happen while him and Rupp are still out of pocket.

 

The 'foreseeable' future usually works in 2 maybe 3 season forecasts. The most tragic part of this sorry episode is the immediacy of our decline. We were sat so fecking comfortably this time two years ago that nobody could have possibly braced themselves for this. No alarm bells, no warnings, no opportunity to prepare emotionally. At least in 2002/3 we knew we were in for a bumpy ride. This time round we've barely had chance to get into the brace position before the crash landing.

Edit: just read post above - you beat me to it but I share the sentiment. I'm sure there are some who will argue they predicted this as soon as the takeover ensued but I never saw this shitacane coming!
