    Not bad results for us although Luton looked dead and buried at one time but as the commentators said they couldn't hold a 2 - 0 lead.
    We need to do the business against a poor Rotherham side Thursday night.

    Don't Blackpool and Luton both play in Orange? Anyone watching wouldn't be able to tell which was the top team and which was in the relegation zone.

    That's the caveat Dave, a poor Rotherham team...I'm sure Cardiff fans were saying the same of Burton.

    Things going well at Hudders after another defeat away to Harrogate second 11

    “Slow, tentative rubbish. We lack conviction all over the park. Our passing is slow. We take too many touches. Our 4.5 million worth of striikers on the pitch can’t finish. Harrogate’s 2nd 11 have more quality than us. Pathetic”

    While true, Blackpool have taken 8pts from Huddersfield, Barnsley, Bolton and Luton at home so they are no mugs on home soil. Result isnt a huge surprise given Lutons indifferent start.

    Rotherham aint a bad team at home either tbf. Only Stockport beaten them. Always tough on the road....

    Looking at today’s fixtures, with City having played on Thursday, it is an opportunity for the chasing pack to catch up.

    Given the table, only Stevenage and Lincoln can overtake us.

    Stevenage have a tough fixture against preseason Title Favourites Luton Town at home. Best result for us would probably be a draw. However if Luton are serious about winning the title, they need a victory in this one.

    Lincoln are also at home, on this occasion to Exeter City who are struggling this season. Although Lincoln are unbeaten at home, they have been held to a draw twice. Exeter’s away form unsurprisingly is poor with four defeats and a single victory. I expect it will be a home victory.

    Cardiff in fourth place were another strongly favoured team for promotion. They are at home to Leyton Orient who have had an indifferent start to the season. However Cardiff have lost twice at home, once to the magnificent bantams, whereas Orient have managed two wins on the road. Home advantage usually comes through on these games, but there is an outside chance.

    Down at the kennels, the dogs entertain Stockport. Udders have the second best home record, whilst Stockport have only lost once. Given the conditions the match could go either way.

    Finally the Wombles are in sixth and are going to get their annual supply of Rock over at Blackpool. Blackpool have only lost once at home, whereas Wimbledon have gained two wins on the road. If the west coast gales are still blowing and it is lashing it down, then the game could go either way.

    So I think Lincoln will win and go top on goal difference, but Stevenage could be held.

    Any thoughts?

    I'm hopeful for a Luton win and Exeter haven't had a draw yet so thats my iffy double.
    I'm working on my acca.

    I had Bournemouth to win last night and figured the weather would even things out at wrexham. I was right and the double came up but today's iffy is a proper gamble.
