I was thinking the same. Without the once in a lifetime Barnsley goal from his own half, and the left foot volley that 9 times out of ten goes over/wide on Saturday, we would have had another 4 points. Thats on top of all the injuries at the same time.

Though having said that, the first half at Edgely Park could've ended like this for us before we turned it round second half.

 

Nathan Lowe incredibly lucky not to be sent off there, to me that looked like his threw a right hook at the Port Vale player. There's certain a swing of the arm that connects with the nose of the Port Vale player.

 

How did Lowe get away with that forearm smash ??

I think he should be ok for now, since their awful start with 7 without a win they were 11 points from 6 games going into tonight.
Their problem is converting changes, before tonight they had the 4th best defense with only 12 goals conceded but the joint 3rd worst attack despite their xG being 7th. They've missed another massive chance just before half time so I think changing manager now would be hope rather than realistic change of anything changing. Their owners have shown a few times they will back him even though some fans want him out, last season there were a few calls against him and same early this season.
