October 2025 Games

I think Lincoln will be the hardest. Their route one and strength from set pieces will undo us I think, even at VP

 

We still aren't really over our away day blues. Yes we have won two games away from home this season but it is our home form that is propelling us along. Cardiff was a great win but it was unexpected against a team that gave us space. I doubt we will see that at Rotherham or Stevenage who will be very physical.

The two home games could go either way, Barnsley have fallen out of form losing their last three and Lincoln are a well drilled side. I'd probably be happy if we manage 6 points. I still say we are looking down not up to secure our place in this division and once we are safe it is then time to see where this season leads up.

Seriously though I'd take 6 atm with decent performances.

There's a chance the Lincoln game could be postponed, looking at their squad and the September window they had 3 players called up for internationals but decided against postponing their game.

They've got:

• Ivan Varfolomeev - Ukraine u21 international who's played 4 league games and their 2 EFL cup games since joining
• Dexter Lemikisa - a regular for Jamaica and joined Lincoln on deadline day but he's not even been in a squad since joining and doesn't seem to be reason given why
• Justin Odikwu - Another joined on deadline day only really been a bench player since joining but he has got 2 goals off the bench. Recently started getting into the Trinidad and Tobago squad.

All 3 teams have fixtures over the international weekend, if they do want to postpone it they have until 5pm this sunday to request the postponement.

 

2 wins, 2 draws. Id actually take that over 3 wins and a loss. Yep im weird but I hate losing.

A couple of 6 pointers too...

 

I have an awful feeling we get turned over on Thursday. Our last 8 league games against Rotherham, 1 win, 1 draw and 6 losses. Awful record against them and at their ground, 3 league games since it opened and we haven't scored there yet.

Lincoln will be tough too with the way they play but I'd back us beating Barnsley for sure, getting something at Stevenage will be tough. I'm going 5 at worst 7 at best.

 

Steve Evans was a bogey for us back in the day.. he was sacked by the millers last season and he's out of work so if Rotherham act quickly and get shut of Hamshaw and re-employ Evans they'll beat us. Otherwise no fecking chance they'll do us over.

 

Just reading twitter, sounds like Lincoln fans are fairly confident they'll postpone for call ups.

 

May not happen but if it does it could benefit one of us, as one or the other could lose form before the rearranged game.

 

We will get 9.
A loss at Stevenage the only blot on another good month.

 

Come on folk worrying about Lincoln are they gonna be really any better than what we have come up against already ???
