November 2025 Games

Looking ahead to the November fixtures there's already been 2 games on the international weekend postponed with Cardiff vs Huddersfield and Wimbledon vs Stockport.

I do hope our game against Plymouth does go ahead as it looks a good time to play them with their recent form and their defending last night was awful. Cleverley got the vote of confidence today and that never ends well.

 

One of their internationals was Brendan Galloway and he plays for Zimbabwe and they've not got a match scheduled so unless they had a training camp or have a match that isn't announced to the public he won't be called up leaving them with just 2.

 

Thanks, when I looked on their fixtures on google these matches didn't show up so assume google hasn't noticed them yet. In that case it looks very likely the game will be postponed as Galloway will be called up for zimbabwe, Hazard will be called up by Northern Ireland and Law McCabe will be called up by England u20s. That will be 2 starting players plus a player who's a regular sub plus I would expect Cleverley will want an extra week on the training ground with the players.
Got to feel sorry for the Plymouth fans if this is postponed as it will mean from 18th October they will play 6 away games in a row which would include a Tuesday night trip to Mansfield, a trip to Huddersfield and a 12:30 game at Port Vale.

 

@Ashton Bantam has posted that Zimbabwe have got a game so it looks like the game will be postponed. Ironically from what Plymouth fans are saying they want Hazard dropped as first choice and replaced by Ashby-Hammond which is quite a turnaround when they were fuming about Ashby-Hammond being signed after a not so good trial but it sounds like he improved as the season went on and Hazard hasn't been the player he was before his injury.

 

Teams have until 5pm the Sunday before a game to request a postponment but the only reason to be that late is for late call ups. Most will confirm their squads by the end of this week and inform clubs before that so I'd imagine if its not postponed by Friday then it will be going ahead. The Lincoln game was postponed the Wednesday before.
