    Was he playing against a centre foward. I certainly didn’t see one, did you?

    In fairness it was one of his better games. He didn’t pass it all that much either.

    Honestly …I never thought they would score , especially in the second half.

    Dont forget Wembley! I was in Liverpool St in 45 mins on Stansted Express.

    Colchester, Gills, Norwich, Ipswich, Peterborough, Orient & Cambridge to name more travelled to from home in less than 1.5 hours.

    Don't remember much about a non entity of a match apart from pissing myself at Songo'o, Paudie and Bass doing their comedy sketch from every dead ball.

    Who on earth has Songo'o (and Paudie and Bass tbf) thinking he could actually pass a ball?

    It's a familiar tale under our ownership, with the same outcomes. What gives you confidence that Sparks will be given such opportunities?

    By the way I'm not comparing Hughes with Adams or Bowyer, McCall, Grayson et al

    But I'm inclined to say, all good managers with good track records all have failed at Bradford. One constant...

    Trust me SB, the current situation at VP is not on Hughes. He has a job in assessing this squad and bringing new players in to compliment. Because not all this squad is on its way.

    Is not the spend it’s recruiting the right players. How many teams have played us off the grass the last few seasons , yet haven’t spent half our budget on recruitment and salaries . Let’s be honest the current squad is crap, generally, yet we have one of the leagues biggest budgets. The correlation of “spend lots equals good squad” was blown out of the water years ago.

    I can pay good money , over the odds perhaps on a car, does it mean it will pass its next MOT?

    I think the term ‘relieved’ is nearer the mark.

    Not sure if you have looked at the maths. Win at home and Draw away (on average) and you will end up 92 points.

    That would mean automatic promotion, if not the title.

    Yesterday was a draw away against a team playing for promotion.

    So a draw away against Northampton was a decent result, especially if we contained their attack.

    I rest my case!

    Great little boozer we stopped in though!! Stewards a bit over zealous yesterday. Closed the bar at ten to three and didn't re-open it and stopped Manny from selling City Gents as well...

    It wasn't the Sun Inn at Kislingbury was it? My mate and I were there. I was able to park up outside and got a ride to the ground on the Corn Dolly coach. Nearly froze our knackers off waiting for a bus back afterwards mind.
