Given the way the season has panned out so far, and indeed the calendar year, then the thing City does a lot of, is lose!

If we are to stand any chance over the season, and be ‘all right’ as some posters have suggested, then positive results from the next two matches are vital. After these games we will be a third of the way through this season.

Ideally six points will arrest the decline, even the most boring 1-0 victories will be welcome.

Neither Rochdale or Coventry are great pace setters in this division.

Rochdale have lost three and drawn two of their last five games and are on a worse run than City (yes it is possible).

Coventry have won two, lost two, and drawn one.

I hope we can get six, but realistically I think four is the best we can hope for, with a win against Rochdale and a draw against Coventry.

    Your thoughts?

Four points would be fantastic. I'm going for three. Less than that would be very poor - in light of the opposition.

We'll be lucky to get a point in total.

In typical City fashion we'll loose to Rochdale Saturday with the majority of the 15'000 season ticket holders present, then beat Coventry on Tuesday with less than half of them there.

Need at least a win and a draw imo to put a sticky plaster on side of the sinking ship before it's too late.

    "Too late"?

90% of us are already on the lifeboats.

Optimism is there every game but quickly followed by same old, same old.

These are two games which could go our way but more likely the wrong way.I will watch and see if the post Accrington ear bashing from DH has had any effect and if so,which way.

If we draw both games we'll make progress because we didn't lose, but no progress in the table.

I've even began to wonder if the long term injuries are because players don't want to play for us.A bit extreme I know but answers to unfathomobile questions make you look for bizarre answers.

This situation is like a creeping paralysis, you continually don't believe it's happening until it's too late.

Lifeboats? Some of us never got on the ship because we knew it would sink.

we really should be beating Rochdale at home. 3 points needed minimum from these games, ideally 4 or 6.

    probably get 1 or 2.

On current form and performances we really shouldn't be beating anyone. We're poor, really poor and it's not just a lull, our squad is simply not good enough, individually and collectively.

Agreed, I voted 2. In a weird way an improvement as it shows progress tightening up at the back and being harder to beat but does nothing for our league position. We are so toothless up top you just can't see where the 3 points are going to come from. Can't outscore the opposition and not tight enough at the back for a scrappy 1-0 win.

I've gone to four, simply because you don't even have to be that good to beat the worst teams.

A bit of luck and some poor finishing on the opponents end could see us pocket a few points.

Went 3 points as I believe we'll grind a win out against one of the opponents, aka Wimbledon...

But it's more in hope than anticipation, as if both opponents get amongst us, attack with fluidity, we may struggle to attain a point.
