I’m not 12 if that’s what you think! You’re very angry aren’t you? Who mentioned planes and burning season tickets. We are allowed to voice our displeasure at the current state of the club. Or do we just sit there happily clapping the crap we get served up every season.

 

I’ll support anyone who comes in but is it wrong for me to want someone with a CV that’s had a little success? Never said it’s a done deal if we did. Just my opinion which is what the board is for.

The Glaziers have owned Man U for years. There have been constant demonstrations and a worldwide campaign, to “encourage” them to sell. Offers in the BILLIONS, and yet who still “ owns” Man U. I’ll leave that reply to you.

I’ve been around the block and put it this way, threats, “ encouragement” however it wants to be couched has the complete and opposite effect. One just fights back and digs one’s heels in even more.

It doesn’t work, sorry to disappoint, but as long as our owner owns the club we are where we are. It’s his money, within the law , nobody , yet nobody will encourage him to leave unless he wants to.

Before anyone thinks otherwise this IS NOT a defence of Rupp.

 

Good, well I’m sure the interview panel will ask the right questions and make an informed decision on the appointment that won’t simply be based on stats.

Yes I would be happy with Holden. We’ve gone for “experienced and proven” managers (Adams, Bowyer, Hughes to name but three) who have all failed, so we may as well give him a go - he’s a relatively experienced manager and seems well respected in the game so why not.

I don’t have a master plan, just my opinion and it seems many others on here. You can’t tell me that a few more defeats on the bounce won’t get some form of discontent in the crowd towards owners, sparks etc? What do you want to see Kev?

 

One problem, the interview panel it self, informed decision? Do we know who is on this so called panel or if we have a panel? I be worried if Gent was on it.

We should be a manager already in work and successful like Bolton did. Not choosing from the out of work failures which will repeat itself

 

How do you know he has had those offers. The only one we know of is the WAGMI one and no details were revealed

The average life of a manager is 15 months so it won’t be long before any in work manager is available. Adams worked out well didn’t it he had a great record

 

Did anyone mention Paul Cook as a potential?

Rather bizarre to have no update from the club, especially with obvious criticism the clubs facing, and the extensive time it's taken to come to a decision. Not even a shortlist of managers have been decided, final interview being conducted, rubbishing the idea of a takeover etc

I don't think we're fortunate enough to be taken over, more likely we're just incompetent

 

Then we need to instill some desire and commitment you know just like all the teams we come up against seem to have in spades......

 

Sorry Kevin but you are wrong. Questioning someone’s age because they want to take action is embarrassing on your part.
It shouldn’t matter if demonstration leads to change because our voices should be heard.
Look at the 100s of thousands of people protesting in the capital calling for a cease fire in Palestine. Will a ceasefire happen? No it won’t.
Protest is positive. People are stretched and tired.
There doesn’t have to be a “master plan” but Sparks and Rupp deserve to be in the papers and on the news. They should be associated with failure.
Yes unless a buyer comes in then we are stuck but to suggest that we just do nothing is insulting.

I thought Mcdonald was on the right track until the last two games where we produced a disgraceful display at MK and another mostly passionless display (except for about 20mins)at the bottom of the table side Sutton.

 

Excellent link, Park. A week ago, I saw him as a failure. Read a bit more about what he'd actually done at the clubs he managed and thought he'd be fine. And now definitely have him as our next manager.
