The comments are worth a read although a lot just repeat the same mantra over and again. Just been looking through Kiers choices in his first cabinet. Some of the job titles are bewildering for a start, shadow minister for cultural industries to name but one. And some of his choices....

 

Didn’t exactly have a massive talent pool to pick from to be fair.

 

The cupboards on both sides of the divide have been empty for some time, those barrels bottoms have been truly scraped.

 

The last thing Labour need are decisive, controversial figures in senior roles. Not sure why you’d appointment Naz Shah in a role dedicated to ‘community cohesion’ given her history in politics.

 

I was been factious - she’s an odious, evil bitch.

 

Looks like a Tory government for the next few decades with appointments like that. She can hardly string a sentence together.

I think he is probably referring to an internal report they were preparing for the EHRC. Apparently it shows that behind the scenes there were factions working against JC. Now not sure why that is a surprise when it was obvious the party was split.

Also not surprising that the report done by someone JC appointed found people were working against him and everything he did was ok.

Ah Aaron Bastani, another who doesn't understand the concept of you can shout as much as you want but if you ain't in power you're completely irrelevant. I knew the Labour Party was fractured but even I didn't think it was this bad, its beyond repair. They'll still be infighting at the next general election.

 

I think it says it all when their own lawyers don’t want it sending to EHRC as then it would be made public.

this report has been in the making for ages. If JC has wanted it releasing he could have done it before he was replaced

That gift that keeps on giving? Never stops. Starmer has his work cut out ridding the party of its past. One day they'll work out how this stuff works.
