I’d be happy with 5 points sadly looking at form/who we are against etc. I can’t see past 4 points would love to be surprised, but even before Rovers I only expected 4/5 points from this run of games but had hoped for 6 against Rovers and Hartlepool to give us leeway.

 

Given where we are now I would take a draw in all of them. The sooner we get to 50 points, the sooner I can sleep at night.

 

From promotion hopefuls to this

 

Sadly I agree with much of what you have said. I do still care though.

However we have rapidly gone from the impressive Take me Home campaign in the summer to last nights complete and utter embarrassing shit show.

I am angry that we were presented with that last night and DA shrugged his shoulders and said we were 3 points off a play off place and Hartlepool were the better team. Dream on. The MANNER of the performance should have sent shudders down his spine. It seems it didn't.

Well it bloody well sent shudders down my spine.

I am angry we are at this point at all but even more so this early in the season. Yes we always want more quality-who doesn't but we seem to have regressed 3 years in the space of 2 games. It's bizarre how we went from battering Bristol Rovers for 70 mins to be beaten quite easily at home by Hartlepool.

 

Morecambe didn't start very well either last season.

The major cause for concern isn't that form is bad now because Adams has shown at previous clubs he CAN turn it around.

What concerns me is he seems to trust so few players in our squad. Including injuries, it seems Adams only rates 13 or 14 of our players and that is too few to launch a real promotion campaign in my opinion. We have the numbers, but in terms of the talent? Threadbare.

 

Will admit, wasn’t expecting that win without vernam and cooke. But swindon have the 3rd worse home record in the league so far only winning once from 7.

FGR however havent lost an away game all season. Won 5 drew 2. Real test on Saturday for Derek.

 

We want names, I'm sure they will have a letter from their mum why they haven't posted with regards the game and result at strongly fancied Swindon .

 

No letter from me. I was sat in a pub garden in Seahouses, enjoying many pints of Farne Island Bitter. Bit steep in price at a tad under £5 but worth it. Northumberland Coastal walk completed and ready to rock.
