Great result and performance last night. What I liked most was it was a really good team performance and everybody knew what they were doing. Grayson certainly knows what he is doing, very organised. It would be difficult to name a mom, but Guy was brilliant broke up their play and attacked with purpose didn’t always come off, but he was always trying. Charlie worked his socks off, and did what I would have hoped for in his development as all good strikers do, that is go and get the ball and make it happen, not good at it yet, but it will come. Every single team member worked really hard to retain the ball and get it their box.

Looks like somebody payed the ransom and our team are back

Heck, the bloke has just started, good result at OT yesterday but he's got a long way to go to prove himself.
Hope the fella does well but it's far too early yet to start fantasising about Darren Moore!!

12k supporters not enough?

Supporters do put their hand in their pockets as you're not taking into account the extra things supporters buy to help back the club.

The owners own the club and should of know what they were getting into. If they can't afford to run the club then they need to leave. It's that simple.

 

Sorry mate I just don't get that, they said they were looking at clubs and decided on us because they liked the location and the way it had been run in the past, yet there model was nothing like the way it was run in the past, and sorry but I personally expect the owners to invest in the club rather than fans, I as yourself have been watching Bradford City for a long time and paid whatever the then owners wanted with regards the price of the coming season ticket price and I would in the future if they increase it.
The problem then is could many others who may not have the money to pay 350/400 pounds for a ticket, and after taking over the club and making statements that we are a poor City and they will keep season ticket prices within a certain range, making a massive statement that is we reached the Premiership they would only charge the nominal fee of 1 pound, I very much doubt they would hike season ticket prices.
These guys have bought the club as an investment and I accept if the club does well we as fans should see better football in a higher league, but the owners will be getting a better return on their investment, so sorry mate I can't agree that they shouldn't be the ones making the investment.

 

I think Joey's got a decent mind for the game, it'll be interesting to see how he gets on. I like him.

Did Edin concede on his want for attacking football then? I don't see why him and Stuart didn't see eye to eye. He came and gave him the attacking football he wanted, he worked miracles with the group of players we have. They then bring Grayson in to play the type of football they specifically didn't want to see. He definitely isn't their man and I will be really surprised if we see him in charge next season. If he is however, and we see a big change in faces in the squad, then I think that will be real proof that Edin has backed down and is relinquishing some control.

Well if the owners don't back the new manager with decent transfer funds and we keep buying dosh from lower div 1 & div 2 then many people who did renew this time won't next season for sure.

I suppose that’s what Abbot was aiming for, more of the Wyke type transfer, relatively small fee but decent player. Unfortunately as we’ve seen, this is more miss than hit and can be seen as wasting money. No transfer is guaranteed but something between the Parky method of high wages, no fee and the young potential would be ideal.
