Latest BBC news article states that Championship Clubs are still considering a separate league, breaking away from the EFL. Some of them still see that the latest TV deal is not enough for them and despite Shaun Harvey leaving and Rick Parry set to be appointed they are still not happy with the deal!!

Thoughts anyone, particularly on the impact on lower league clubs who currently get a pittance compared to Championship Clubs let alone PL clubs, and given the demise of Bury FC?

Given there are numerous clubs in the Championship that have been in PL over the last 5 - 10 years and have/are benefiting from parachute payments, but also struggle to meet FFP rules and 'sell' their grounds etc but still can't make it back, the knock on effect down the league's?

League's 1 & 2 cast further adrift but players still wanting what the guys in above divisions get paid?

Agree with what the accy chairman said, let them take their deal but dont tie league one and two into it.

L1 and L2 get a pittance in relative terms , and sky dont want to show it due to low figures etc but want exclusivity in the deal meaning lower clubs are stuck.

By pulling out of a deal or being left out of the deal L1 and L2 could probably get an half decent contract off free to air providers

There will be various broadcasters looking for content, With BT, Netflix, Amazon and Apple TV all looking for football content and building audiences, League one and two should undo the pittance they get and build there own brand with broadcasters who will pay better and support the leagues better
