After we have a new manager, but before we sell season tickets, as soon as Sparks works out the logistics of a pay as you wear subscription scheme that spreads the cost.

 

I haven't been sent ought from anyone at the club, and I doubt other people have either. I've just gone on what Ryan has said ie. Commemorative and different to what we usually wear and designed these around that and the 81-82 shirts.

I have a few messages from supposedly ITK folk saying I'm pretty much bang on but you know what usually happens with those ITK accounts.

 

I bet Sparks is pretty peed off that these concepts kits have gathered momentum online. It's going to take the shine off the actual kit when it's released (and isn't as good as the ones created by fans). A lesson learnt, would be to run a competition and let fans decide which kit we have.

 

Love the designs by @Thelittlegerman - some great work there so I thought i'd piggyback on those with my own versions, complete with a new logo/badge - controversial, I know!

 

I like it (I would say that though ) it's nice and simple, a bit like me!

 

Surely we will use the home kit at home so that is half of the matches as the away team will have to change.

Are there many clubs releasing them now? Stupid strategy if they are. With the Euros on most will be focusing on England and buying England shirts for themselves or family members.

Much more sensible to wait until the Euros are over then build a bit of hype maybe with a signing or two and release it then.

The chequerboard was possibly the worst shirt we've ever had. The chequerboard was bad enough on its own but the hideous fade out made it look like a dog's breakfast - utterly hideous.
By all means play around with the away shirts but leave the stripes alone. I know we haven't always had stripes but it's become our identity and we should own and be proud of it. Change the collar shape etc, by all means but leave the stripes alone.

I dont see the FA Cup winning kit from over 100 years ago inspiring the lads to get promotion from DIV4 - completely different!!!. Now if it was a cup final coming up...

The clues are in unique, special, inspire and our aim for promotion. Im betting 1981. White home.

 

We had this shirt about 10 years ago in cup competitions. I remember us beating Forest in it at home. I think that was the match that Dave Syers scored on his debut. Peter Taylor was the manager.

 

I never buy the kit but I do get one for my boy. It doesn't bother me if I don't like it, I wont moan about it but a good kit does look better and probably sells better which is good for the club.

Im kinda hoping we get a white home strip so the mouth breathers go ape sh*t because 'its like L33ds kit'. I love a good meltdown.

 

What we need are some 1970s British Airways trolley dolly's to model it. That would shift a few more. Or is that a comment that is too far back into a non woke world ?

 

We did the 1911 shirt in 2011 for its 100 year history. Why would we do it again?

Also - it was absolutely rancid.

 

Ryan says in this interview he hoped this weekend, if not Monday/Tuesday there been problems with the makers end apparently.
