I think men of a certain age are far more likely to wear a vintage/ retro shirt than the current one. That's the market we are missing.

Sparks had set ambitious targets for the commercial department. He understands every pound counts for the turnover of this club and its relevant attempt at success. The release day of the kit will make no difference whatsoever to how many kits/shirts/merchandise is sold. We may or may not be successful on the pitch but it won't be for the want of trying.

 

People defending the delay are simply saying its out of the clubs hands and during a global pandemic. An educated guess would suggest the supply chain has been hit by either raw material shortages or staff shortages.

Looks good to me. We played in white in my first season following City, it’s nice to look back occasionally. And I’m sure we’ll be back in stripes next year

I mean it’s not a patch on Edin’s ‘warrior’ kit bit you can’t have everything I suppose.

 

When I first started being interested in football in mid 60s Sheffield Wednesday played in solid blue with white sleeves, a bit like Arsenal only in blue
