    If anyone is being brought in for that reason, then McCall's position is untenable (it would be anyway at most clubs, but this would seal it).

    What the club needs is someone in a senior position on the football side of things to give us some direction and hopefully put a strategy in place. There is noone at the club presently capable of doing that, and it's something we need whoever the manager is.

    Agree with you on that.The "we're asking for help" is
    a cry for help and suggests Stuart is struggling.Maybe
    they want to bring someone in as a scape goat and
    deflect any criticism off Stuart?

    One thing that Bradford City need to do is to stop employing people from the past. ALL i hear is McCall,Jones, Lawrence,Jewell,Morais,Hanson etc etc. For goodness sake move on !

    What I don’t understand is that although Sparkes will have inevitably been given a pay rise it will still be modest (age, lack of experience etc). Certainly nowhere near what Rhodes will have been paid. So, Rupp is now saving a fair amount on boardroom salaries. You would think that the difference probably wouldn’t be far off paying for a Director of Football, so would be cash neutral salary wise.

    Well, he was here when McCall had his only decent season as a manager, and as we only seem to exist as a club for Stuart, we might as well just go with it.
