    There will be a new monthly Bradford City podcast released by the club as part of a new sponsorship deal with SBK.

    It mentions that the podcast will feature former players and other guests, it sounds like a good way for the club to communicate more with fans as I'd imagine current staff and players will also be on it from time to time.

    It does feel like you're listening to a Radio 4 episode of the archers though. The most unyorkshire accents you could wish to hear.

    I know he’s probably your mate, but I guarantee he won’t feature on the podcast if we are in a relegation scrap but if we are in the play off he will certainly make an appearance!

    Further encroachment on football in my view and then we're all surprised when players are caught out betting.

    I thought sport had worked this out years ago when tobacco companies were turned away?

    The problem football has is that betting companies are probably 3rd on the list for most investment into football away from the traditional income of fans after owner funding and TV money so if betting advertising was banned football would have a big black hole to fill. If you are banning betting sponsors then really you should be banning alcohol sponsoring as well which would create another blackhole albeit a smaller one.

    I read it as a dig at folk saying Sparks only talks when things are going well, but it wouldn't be the first time I've misunderstood your posts haha
