    Well it's Christmas eve so I would like to wish all my fellow bantam fans a merry Xmas and fantastic new year

    Thank you for your continued support of the forum... there's many characters on here which is what makes it one of the best football message boards in the UK

    And at the end of the day we all want the same goal.... or goal scorer lol

    Hopefully the January sales will bring us what we want

    You were doing so well until your final sentence;)

    We’ve all been in this position in December in the last few years.More in hope than expectation.
    Let’s hope that finally our owner sees that with a not so massive spend we might be able to find that bit of quality that we are so sadly lacking and who knows what will happen between now and May.
    Merry Xmas to all fellow members of the BEST football forum in the UK.

    But most importantly, a safe rest of the year and 2022.

    I'm feeling pretty bah humbug, tbh. Our plan to spend Christmas in London with my daughter and our new grandson has collapsed because her fiancee has Covid (like half of London, it seems) so they are isolating. We're hoping to do Christmas at New Year instead but, meanwhile, it'll be pretty low key here.

    Anyway, Merry Christmas to all on here. Hope your own plans are intact and that Santa Rupp puts his hands in his sack and gets us a goalscorer or two.

    Sorry to hear that. Hope you can all make up for it in the New Year.

    I started with a horrible winter sickness bug yesterday so our plans might have to be shelved for a day or so too.

    I feel like I have the hangover from hell today without having the fun of the night before!

    Tested negative for Covid so at least not that.

    Merry Xmas everyone! I’ve promised myself to take the next two days off, and just enjoy myself. A lot easier now we haven’t got a game on Boxing Day :)

    And I’m looking forward to 2022. A lot of changes happening ….preferably to our forward line, midfield, defence and goalkeeper. Oh, and a little matter of my Mrs giving birth in April :)
