Where does everyone think we would be in the table if McCall was still here? My guess is 21 points, so the relegation zone but with two games in hand on Southend and Grimsby. I think we would have just about survived at the end of the season, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Nothing wrong with McCall coming back but what should have been clear is that like Rhodes himself he is just coming back to help out and see how it all goes. In the time we will be building something, creating an identity and hiring people to help you that will be at the club a long time. This might have smoothed things over and manage expectations but no. No, McCall won't have any honorary role at the club I don't think. He seems bitter about the sacking.
Sparks sacking McCall was the right decision. Sparks not giving T & S the job full time at this moment is the right decision but McCall didn't help himself. Some of the team line ups and tactics were just silly. It's a shame really.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

He was taken us down no doubt about it, we were absolutely hopeless, void of any fight and strategy. Delusional isn’t the word for him. Stick to the punditry and story telling because that’s what you’re good at Stuart.

Questions whether 2016 was down to him or the players. That core group Parkinson had simply carried on the good work......he also got lucky with Wyke replacing Hanson. Cheers Edin, at least you get that one right. -
