Is it great? I hope it is, but it's a very vague statement.

Having had a look online they seem like slick marketing over anything of real substance, 'banking as a service' although it's not clear if they have any/many major clients. CEO doesn't give much away here and ducks the question, 'F1'.



Uk office is currently listed as some poxy little office rental space in Cambridge based on the website, potentially just a service address to forward comms.

Credit to the club for expanding sponsorship internationally, but this ain't gonna be a game changer.

The purpose for them is to expand in the UK and if this sponsorship and the significant amounts of cash it is going to generate for us helps them to do that it’s a win win. It will also get the club noticed and may generate further interest

 

Maybe, but that's a very, very optimistic view of things. Maybe it comes true, who knows. But if these were serious players they'd be setting up shop in Leeds, not Bradford. But how does this generate serious amounts of cash for the club?

Let's wiat and see. I'm not saying it's bad, not at all. The club deserve credit. I just don't expect this to be material to our future, not based on what's been announced and the size of Mbanq as a business.

Ryan suggested that more details of the nature of the partnership would be revealed in the coming weeks. Could be stadium sponsorship perhaps. Can’t see it being the shirts as I think we’re on a long deal with JCT 600.

Let’s wait and see but It sounds like there is a substantial amount of money involved. And that’s has to be welcomed and apparently the money increases if we’re to move up and as we have been discussing today if that should happen we are going to need every penny we can get our hands on.

 

It's a fair question.

They look like a tech start-up which is starting to expand. How their revenues compare to the funding they currently rely on isn't going to be in the public domain. Hopefully, they continue to expand, bring some higher quality jobs to the Bradford area and that encourages others to follow and that the club is associated with that.

It will be interesting to see what is announced down the line.

 

For comparison, JCT600's turnover for 2024 was 1.3 billion. Like you say, credit to the club and all that for getting them in board, but their input is not going to be revolutionary.
