    After that stirring point against the strongest side in all the divisions, I think I'll leave the Landlord alone and go lie down in a dark room for a while... Save the good stuff for a better occasion. Perhaps some Golden Pheasant or Zywiec instead.

    Ended up with Austrian Steigl and Slovakian Golden Pheasant. Both went well with pizza.

    But the Landlord remains a very nice pint. Last time I found some over here I was still living in Winnipeg, over 5 years ago now. The Commission there used to bring it in regularly, and I lived within easy walking distance of the flagship store...

    Now that would be nice...but as far as I know, McClelland are an importer/wholesaler, and not a retailer to the general public.

    What one can do is order directly from the LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario), and get your stuff shipped to a store of your choice, or even your home. This will work for in-stock items, but you can also order just about anything produced anywhere, provided that (i) you can give Elsie the appropriate information about the producer, and (ii) you order by the case. This is geared more, I suppose, towards wine and spirits, but I'd think beer would be possible. I just wonder how they define a 'case' of beer? 24, most likely.

    13 left... Must see if any other outlet in the region has some.

    It’s a strange world. We were staying in a remote part of the North Island New Zealand, a place near Cooper’s Beach (population about 1800) and they had Taylor’s Landlord in bottles!

    The Landlord continues to be rationed, though I do have a bottle at the ready in case of a win. Otherwise, some Austrian Ottakringer or local Boneshaker IPA.
