Wouldn't owning our own stadium and training ground involve putting quite a lot of extra money in?

I worked with the architect on the specifications for a leisure centre on the old Richard Dunne centre, certainly not a stadium venue for any team.

Id like to see the drawing to prove it plus there are major Planning issues with Highways and many other things with local residents who complain about the Bulls matches and parking. I’ve looked at all this so don’t buy it

And talking of which, I told the 12 yr old grandson about this outfit and how NFT's we're going to be our way forward. Wish I hadn't bothered. I got a full run down on current financial gains from NFT's and how we were crazy to turn it down

Thanks Akbar. I have it on on pretty strong authority that James Mason is actively, or conversely, inactively discussing something with someone who may or may not have something to do with Bradford City that could or couldn't have something to do with football. Don't tease, show us what you've got.

Councillor Joan Clarke (Conservative) was elected as a Councillor for the Wyke ward last month. She said she had been delighted with news that the Bulls were once again returning to Odsal, and said news that the Richard Dunn site could be used for employment was promising.

She said uses like a park and ride had been mooted for the large site, and added: "I think that would have been a waste of a prime location. We could have a massive stadium there if we wanted.

    https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/19342549.employment-use-likely-former-richard-dunn-leisure-centre-site/

Note that it is considered that there is room to build one of the 'most significant retail developments in West Yorkshire', whether that be a huge retail park or shopping centre.

That there is room for a stadium of more than 2,000 capacity is beyond question.

Room is no issue. You could literally fit Old Trafford on that site.

Listen, we all know Derek Adams won't be here forever, and we need to start planning for Stuart's next tenure at the club.

5 year contract for me this time, NO MUCKING ABOUT, let's get him in and get on with it.

More than likely. A 25,000 capacity, modern football stadium with 4 stands, offices, proper access etc but with limited car parking would have a footprint of about 8 acres. The entire RD site is about 14 acres so there appears to be plenty of margin.

That doesn't mean of course, despite what some have posted, that anybody is looking at the RD site as a future home for us or the Bulls. The local Council appears to have other plans.

You can still prop up retail spaces with a supermarket.

Something will come up though whatever it is. It's a massive space.
