So they had a little spell of form. Ultimately he led them to a relegation battle with their biggest budget in years and then got sacked. Then he got our u18s relegated. Get a grip man! Thank the lord that most fans don’t think like you. There are no positives if he’s appointed. People will turn against Edin in their droves and he needs to remember that one of the most important parts of his model is keeping the fans onside.

He won’t be appointed but if he was he would have as much chance as any other inexperienced coach. And just like any other appointee he should be given time to see how he actually does. Not what you think he will. It doesn’t matter who is appointed for some they will find it “Underwhelming “ whoever it is

I have never said we should appoint Drury but he is a better qualified coach than most people of his age and has as much chance as anyone else. To write someone off on knowing so little about him is very narrow minded

 

Would you be worried if Drury was appointed? Genuine question.

I will be worried whoever is appointed until I see how they do. I was very worried like a lot of others when Stuart was reappointed after his first spell and apparently the club got a lot of letters saying the same thing. Someone mentioned Terry Dolan the other day I was really worried when they appointed him and he nearly got us into the then first division after apparently impressing the board with a written essay about how he was going to set about doing the job. I am pleased the board are taking their time and speaking to a lot of people

No. I'd wait until we'd signed some players and seen how we played for at least ten league matches. History, is absolutely littered with lots of people who made surprisingly good managers, after been given no chance by their fans. Wenger is one of those. Jewell is another

I'm not sure your correct mate, if Martin Drury does get the job (which I'd very much doubt) I can see the first reply to anyone who dare condemn that appointment,
"give the guy a chance ffs you do now't but moan"

Promoting from within would certainty IMO give Edin the chance to get more involved with the football side of things, I'm not suggesting picking the team but you know bouncing some of his football ideas off Martin.

 

I don’t see it as bullying, he puts himself out there and gives as good as he gets. Half of me thinks he’s winding us up anyway.
