Its not so much agreeing with @Offcomedun@Offcomedun but more disagreeing with @DimitriPayet@DimitriPayet talk about knee jerk reactions.

It needed to be addressed in January and again in the summer. Hughes hasn't, and seems unable.

No we aren’t going to win every home game/draw every away game.

Yes we are behind where we should aim for.

For whatever EFL planning, we have played four away games and two at home.

    We aren’t scoring enough goals.

My comments were related to this match.

If someone wants to start a thread looking at how we are doing ‘over the season’, then I would say we are slow out of the blocks, underachieving, should do better etc.

Versus Mansfield, then I stand by my comment we have gained a reasonable point. Not a brilliant win, but nevertheless a decent result.

As I said, we are lightweight/toothless up front.

There are no very good teams in league 2. Honestly that today was two very average football sides, be surprised if either trouble the top three come the end of the season.

It sounded like a good performance. I'm just saying shots on target is not a good indicator of which side looked most likely to win. Stats don't lie but it depends what question you're asking.

Same as you on iFollow but I was comparing it to Crawley and Morcambe. Of course we need to improve our attacking but at least we were trying today.

No matter how many players we have losing the goals of Pattison cook and the experience of McDonald is a massive handicap we got through against Crewe who today beat Gillingham. And there won’t be many taking point at Mansfield

Lowest scorers in the league predictions I made looking good value so far. Lack lustre up front.
If only we had a window to fix it? Point in isolation here not bad but the bigger picture around goals. Going to be saying this every week am afraid.

I have seen absolutely no one saying 'we're doing great'. Getting a good away point at Mansfield - which most teams in this division won't get - is not the same as believing that everything in the garden is rosy. We need a serious improvement in our goal threat to have any chance of promotion, whether automatic or via the payoffs.

I thought Mansfield being ponderous in midfield and upfront helped us immensely. They didn't press us at all. And that helped out slower players. Pattison a big miss today, that open space was tailor made for him.

Hughes saying a couple of weeks at least for both Pattison and Cook.
Still no explanation as to why Cook is out.

Aye. Sitting in 15th place having scored 4 in 6 games. I'd have definitely taken that a month ago!

You can't have a goal threat if you don't attack!
