I'm back in the UK for the first time in 2 years so I do plan to go to this game though not with the same enthusiasm and excitement as I usually have on these return visits to VP. The only thing that will stop me going is if Ev*ns is appointed.

 

they’ve sold 1100 and that’s the limit in there tickets ............plenty of them travelling up to purchase tickets in the City ends

 

They sold out their initial allocation of 1600 and requested more tickets. I think they have sold st least 2000

 

Mansfield Town manager Nigel Clough says the Stags’ supporters will always ‘be a help to us’ ahead of this weekend’s sold out away clash with Bradford City.

Over 2,000 Mansfield fans are set to back the boss’ side at Utilita Energy Stadium on Saturday.

 

Depends what the weather’s like. Says it all really. Haven’t missed many home games unavoidably until 2019 for 35 years or more. Missed a fair few since then when we could attend. However, if we do have a new manager in place, probably more likely to go.

 

I'll be coming up with the 2100 Stags fans and sitting in the stand on the side. Our fans have been loud and travelled in good numbers so I'm really looking forward to losing my voice no matter the result.

I think the game will be tighter than a lot of you are expecting. We have injuries and suspensions and they way we ballsed up our last game was an absolute shambles - I've not seen anything like it in 32 years watching the Stags.

But if we turn up, we're nearly impossible to beat. I'll take a draw, a good sing-song and a nice curry please!

I'm done for this season apart from the last home game where I'll be going solely to pay my respects.

 

No. But only coz I'm working. Otherwise I'd be going. I take my mum who's in her late 70s, she's just been diagnosed with alzheimers so I'm attending every game i can while we still can, its such a shame that the last games she'll remember are so dire!

 

Stolen the suggestion from FB but such is the excitement for this game now, the club should be offering a ticket deal. Two for one on next few home games or something. Or even discounted on Sat.

Pack the stands and show we are right behind Sparky.

I'll take a draw, but don't expect it. I do expect us to make a good noise though. It's been the best season for that that I can remember. Away at Doncaster and Sunderland, we travelled well and sang all game. I expect that again in your lovely big stadium!

Sorry but no. A new high profile manager is just Sparks obvious attempts at deflecting criticism and papering over the cracks, we still need to remove the two at the top to really get my interest back.
