I'm confused why sparks thinks we potentially need the loyalty scheme for home games?

Every season ticket holder should get one as standard and then sell the remaining to season ticket holders for a short time before general sale. Job done!

Let's be honest, anyone without a season ticket isn't likely to accumulate many loyalty points anyway so it literally makes no sense.

Mind you, it's not the first time I've thought that about certain decisions this season.

What about if fans can't this or that or have been supporting for years shouldn't really come into it. I went to loads of away games in the 80s and 90s, doesn't mean i should be getting priority for tickets this season because of it. You rack up the away games, you earn the right to a ticket.

What a load of old tripe

The loyalty system was borne on the back of the fiasco of the Chelsea and other cup games a few years ago. Away matches with limited capacity, and high profile home games. I have spent a shit load of money attending most away games this season, and although the term “entitled” shouldn’t be banded about, why the feck should someone buying a set of coasters in the city shop and attending a women’s game at home be awarded more points to someone (like myself) who have trekked to the likes of Sutton, Orient, Crawley, Carlisle etc.

It is bollocks of the highest order. Most clubs loyalty schemes award those fans who do the most away games by giving them the best chance of getting first dibs on games that are in demand, nothing more nothing less

A loyalty scheme where the benefit is priority access to match tickets should only be made up of points accrued by buying other tickets.

I’ve filled in the survey and made made my view clear in the notes section at the end that points should only be given for attending the men’s first team games.
If they start giving points for buying tat in the shop or a shit pint in the kiosk, I’m finished!

Exactly, the club might as well revert back to the only away priority scheme and just charge £100 each to the first 1000.
The scheme we have currently works just fine the way it is. Fans know where they stand and what they need to do to build up points.
There’s an acceptance from those that don’t regularly travel away that they will most likely miss out.
Keep it as it is is my opinion

Imagine if you go as a group and 1 person buys 6 pints at the bar.
Does he/she have to then scan each season ticket to get points added?
Same with a parent buying a shirt for themselves and 3 kids. Does the parent get all the points from 4 shirt sales.
The whole idea is a joke and unmanageable

    I've completed the survey.

    My view:
    1) The existing scheme should be focused on away matches only, with points for away matches purchased being the main way of earning points. However, I'm not totally against awarding some points for having a season ticket; and
    2) If the Club wants a broader loyalty/purchase rewards scheme, then run it as a separate scheme.

Let's redefine what loyalty means in this instance and what the actual fans think its related to. We have a handful of games where away tickets might exceed supply depending on circumstance. Any scheme brought in should be to deal with the fairest allocation of those said tickets. That should not include someone buying a shirt or anything else other than attending matches.

If you buy a match ticket and don’t go you still get points so why the difference for season ticket holders

I voted No for that question as I didn't want some new people who come into the club to buy 50 shirts or 6 burgers a game to drive up their point totals. actually attending games/ getting season tickets is what should increase the points

Because most people understand what the scheme is and its purpose. Go to away games to get points which means you can go to more away games.
It’s not too hard to grasp

I'm afraid like the other 15,000 or so City fans who didn't bother wasting their time on this 'survey', I'll just try for tickets for the few away games I wish to go to when they are available to season ticket holders.
If I don't get one, no great loss, I'll watch on TV.
I'm afraid I have stopped enjoying most away games anymore thanks to our 'no pyro no party' followers.
Bollocks to the new scheme that nobody asked for.

For the first time for a high profile match tickets were distributed to those who had been to a decent number of qualifying games and not just on the one off. There then were others who still got tickets the following day when they were open to all season ticket holders.

This is a system that worked as intended so talk of changing it is just daft. Kiosk purchases is an idea away with the birds, especially when they can't at some games even allocate you as being there or not due to a turnstile operator not scanning your card properly, got knows what trying to allocate points to someone buying a pie with a queue 20 deep would be like.

If it ain't broke, it doesn't need fixing. I've been to Wrexham plenty of times, it's a shithole and a couple of film stars don't make me think it's the golden ticket next year. It's probably going to be put on TV anyhow as Sky get bored of Salford and go for their new love in.

I find it hard to fathom why people think tickets sold by Bury FC should/ would be eligible for loyalty points.

Why would Bury FC waste time & money reporting back to Bradford City, the names of people who bought tickets and why would Bradford City do the same matching those up to members who bought for a poxy pre-season friendly.

I find it even harder to fathom why anyone would think the club are in any way to blame for not doing this.

    From the season ticket FAQs

    Q. I have accrued a certain amount of loyalty points for the 2022/23 season based on my attendance at games in 2021/22. When will these start coming into effect?

    A. Loyalty points will come into effect from this season, for away fixtures only. Full details on how the loyalty-point scheme will work this season will be confirmed in due course.

There’s always the home stand at Pay on the Day or it’s useful having an address outside Bradford for all ticket games ;)

If you go on your purchase history. click on the information button next to 2021/22 season ticket it has all of the home games you attended with 20 loyalty points next them then it's same for cup and away games it will show the points allocated based on them.

Surely the easiest thing would be for @Fordy117@Fordy117 * to issue questionnaires to all season ticket-holders establishing whether they know we train at a school, that the squad is no better than lower mid-table, because that's where we finished last season, that Sparks is a merely a tea-boy, and Rupp is the worst football club owner since Gillette and Hicks. Points would be allocated based on answers to those questions as well as how pessimistic you would be about the coming season.

*My apologies Fordy. This is a bit harsh for comedy effect but you do annoy me greatly.
