How to make it fair for the vast majority? The more away games you attend in a season the better chance you have acquiring more away tickets. I've missed a fair few away games this season and as such have missed out on one or two away games I wanted to go to. No complaints from me, this whole adding points for merchandise and the like just makes it more complicated than it should be

This is from the ‘survey’ page:
PLEASE NOTE: From next season, the scheme will change its name to the City Supporters Scheme, with the awarding of City Points based on fans’ purchases at the club.
My gripe is that when I ‘purchase’ a Season Ticket, I should get all the points available, irrespective of whether I attend or not.
Going through the turnstile is not making a separate ‘purchase’. Can the club explain how I have made an additional purchase, by going through a turnstile!?
The club will still include my Season Ticket ‘purchase’ per game towards the ‘Attendance’ figure even if I don’t go to the game. As a ‘quid pro quo’ the club should award me the points as they want to maximise the ‘Attendance’ figures. -
Should go back to away passes. 1500 at £20 each is £30 grand in the bank and less arguments

Remember some people (who apparently didn’t actually support City), just expected to be able to get lots of tickets for high profile matches!

Fast forward to 2062... and the Stone Island wearing idots who currently traipse around the country giving our club a bad name will be the ones complaining about how they've held a season ticket for 40 years so should get priority tickets for the FA Cup match against Silsden FC ahead of all the kids who went to a load of away games in 2061.

I wish people would stop whinging about this subject people who travel the most have a big advantage over others and I suppose that’s right.
But what is loyalty is it loyal to have bought a season ticket for decades long before they were cheap as chips. Is it loyalty when people travel mikes to home games. Is it loyalty when people turn up for unpopular games. Just accept the status quo and get on with itStop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Of all the games this season only 4 I ever saw as being an issue to get hold of tickets and two of them have been and gone with Barrow and Hartlepool. The other two being Harrogate and Salford. The rest have sufficient capacity or are of a distance where it doesn't become an issue.
That is of course unless we beat Blackburn and draw a Premier League side in the cup, when suddenly more people will want tickets than were in the home end against Hull and Blackburn. I will enjoy hearing why some are so deserving of tickets if we draw Spurs away for example and how suddenly our entire fan base can travel to London on a Tuesday but can't get to Valley Parade this week.Loyalbantam, ConnecticutBantam, Morley Bantam and 1 other person like this. -
I thought the points requirement was two pies three beers and a Tetley pub hunt tee shirt. How the times have changed
