What really pisses me off about the current loyalty scheme is the allocation of points for attending home games, even when you've already bought a season ticket.
Due to weddings and other events, postponed from the last two years because of Covid, I'm going to miss quite a few home games this Autumn. Why should I be penalised for that when I've already bought the ticket for those games?

I don't quite understand people on this thread at the minute, pretty sure it was always there to encourage those who spend more to further spend more.

regardless it is still a much better system than the priority pass

I remember the times where we really didn't have much of a pot to P*** in during the parky days.. then people are surprised to see the club do as much as it can to generate as much money as possible? I mean the CEOs previous role was head of commercial.

Now hopefully this money can be invested back into the club correctly!

The whole loyalty scheme was brought in so that those who travel around the country the most watching City at places like Sutton and Crawley were front of the queue should a mega tie like Man City come round and allow them to obtain tickets for their effort.

It has now turned into a complete clusterfuck where if you buy a fecking scarf for £35 you get the same loyalty points as someone who has been to Crawley, Colchester x 2, Forest Green, Crawley, Bristol, Exeter x 3 & Stevenage. And these people exist, whatever the results they are there.

How can you feck up something so simple in obtaining points through attendance?

I think the biggest problem here is the club have given this scheme the name "loyalty" where the benefits are priority access to match tickets, yet are actually selling a different product.

A loyalty scheme for tickets, for me, means rewarding the most loyal fans who travel up and down the country supporting the team.

Yet what we actually have is a system where someone who goes to a Papa Johns game vs Leicester U21s gets a bigger reward than someone who goes to a league game away at Colchester on a Tuesday night. And where someone who spends £35 on some tat can have as many points as someone who spends hundreds of pounds on ten away games throughout the season. In my opinion that's bang out of order and is not a loyalty scheme whatsoever.

Bradford city should publish there rules on there own website . Not some independent supporters club who no one listens too . It’s a Bradford city’s product there selling .Its not hard to state the basic rules

Exactly, the points are for away tickets and it’s first team men’s team away games only where points should be earned.

If you buy a season ticket, give everyone the loyalty points for the game. It's pretty simple.

Someone people are going to find that because they have juniors who aren't allowed to attend night games because they run till 9.30pm, that they will be hundreds of points ahead of their children when they end up wanting to buy tickets for a game in the future. If you have paid for a game but something got in the way you should just get the points.

Losing points for working late, shift, car troubles, illness, etc when you have forked out cash is not really the way this should work.

Ryan quickly responded, to my email, last night, covering a number of issues. In respect of the missing loyalty points he said:

"This is the first I have heard of issues about points not being added. I’d ask that those who have concerns to please reach out to our Head of Ticketing, Data & CRM, Marco Townson, copied in, who will be able to attend to the accounts in question and ensure points are added right away."

You ask fans, I guarantee they would all unequivocally say that the scheme is for away tickets. Shouldn't be getting points for stuff like women's games and merchandise to go toward away tickets. Should be down to the games you've been to away from home.

Suppose that shows the scheme is working as part of it was to drive sales for the club for unpopular games

No it’s about loyalty and you can show loyalty by attending unpopular matches

Now confirmed that a membership plan is in place where a fan can become a member and receive a scarf, 100 loyalty points, and member exclusives for £35.

Disgusting this. Opportunity to buy loyalty points in a quick cash grab from the club. Stinks to high heaven really, how can someone spend £35 quid on a scarf and get the same loyalty points as some forking out time and money on ten away games. Shocking idea and needs a rethink. Done deliberately knowing folk who go away regular with a lot of points will need to buy a membership anyway simply to keep ahead of someone buying what essentially is a frigging scarf.

I'd go further and give every club the same number based on the percentage of our ST base that they gave us. So if Harrogate give us 650 and we have 14,000 season then they are giving us 4.6% of our season tickets so I would give them 4.6% of their season ticket base ie 92 tickets. They still wouldnt sell them all.

My daughter was Mascot for the Grimsby game which caused us to move seats so that other family members could come, and we didn't get any points either. I don't need bank statements as the club have photos of her in the centre circle.
