As long as there’s no trouble, and money is raised for a great cause then it’s al good.

But you can’t understand, at least a little, that for non-closeted Liverpool fans who also follow City, the idea of seeing your own ‘fans’ cheering for goals that go in against us is offputting? It would be for me, anyway.

If it’s a similar team to the one put out against Tranmere last night.. I imagine there will be a few empty seats by half time

There were plenty buying them on the night and the lad who compared the evening said a £1 donated for everyone sold.

Where’s the other £9 going? Surely someone isn’t trying to make money off of them... pretty bad that really

Not to your casual Sky Sports fan who is turning up expecting to see their Champions league “heroes”

Their website says the profits are going to it which seems more likely. And if those profits are only £1 then they’ve made a bit of a *@?$ up in choosing suppliers :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

It's already been said that the majority of tickets have been bought by people who have a history on Citys database, stop sulking and enjoy the game.

Yet we have failed in recent years to sell out league cup and play off semi finals to our own supporters.

Our database is largely made up of Liverpool and Man United supporting Bradfordians who thought they might as well but a cheap season ticket down the road. Many even bring along their kids, a great way to build a future fanbase? Maybe, but not sure how effective that is when many of these kids are at VP in their Man U or Liverpool gear, glued to their phones.

I've never seen anyone at VP wearing a Liverpool or Man U shirt, shall we just shut the club so we can't grow a fan base? Honestly read your post back it's pathetic.

You really have a downer on this game don't you, Liverpool fans sitting in the home end, fans walking out at half time because of the scoreline now the fans are being ripped off if only £1 is going to Darbs charity.
Why does everything need to be questioned I and I would think the vast majority of fans going to the game are going for one reason and one reason only to show our support for a fellow human being who has been struck down with a terrible disease, a lad who brought us City fans so much pleasure along with the other history makers, and to support a great cause.
Sorry to go on mate but I don't understand the negatively it will be a good afternoon.

You must have your eyes closed a lot of the time then.

The reason we'll never grow a fanbase is the pathetic subservience many of our fans have towards these clubs.

If they are football fans they will. Can you imagine you sat down with Darbs? ''Yeah sorry Stephen there's too many Liverpool fans in the Bradford ends I don't fancy it''.

But our fan base has already grown, maybe it's attitudes like yours that shut the club down for these type of fans. I have a friend who grew up as a Man Utd fan, never went to a game just your usual sky arm chair fan. He started going to City at 24 and now he's been a season ticket holder for the past 5 years.

I cannot fathom out whether you are a WUM, or you are just spouting absolute nonsense. I genuinely know scores of City fans on that database, and I can assure you, not one of them has the slightest interest in Liverpool or Man Utd. I can honestly say I have never seen anyone sat near me on the Kop wearing a Liverpool or Man Utd shirt. No idea what you have against this match or fellow fans, but it is very tiresome, to put it politely

Don’t forget the concern of possible pitch invasion after Liverpool fans behaviour at Tranmere.

I can’t be arsed with this shit anymore. For crying out loud its a friendly football match set up in principle for a charitable cause. Nobody is forcing anyone to go. It isn’t a game where the result means anything, just another 90 minutes of match fitness under the belts but its a chance to show apprecition. All this talk of away fans in with home fans, liverpool playing U23s etc, means absolutely nothing. If you want to pick faults in this game go do something else.
