League One Away Ticket Allocations

Will the tickets for Bolton away go on general sale do we think? That's an away game I've got my eye on.

 

I'd add controversial to that too but fuuny af.

 

They always hold some back for general sale to season ticket holders but unless you’re quick / lucky they’ll be gone in minutes

 

Bolton will give us 5,000 tickets. And will probably have us as a cat A game at £30 a piece. (Cat D games are £20)

They don't have any games beyond October on sale to their own fans yet either.

 

They have reduced it to around 2.5k

 

Stevenage tickets sorted.

 

They gave Wigan 3.5k just the other week, and thats probably on Police advice due to how close the clubs are.

 

Nothing they will. Didn’t even give that many to Wigan. They split the stand behind the goal now. 3000 tickets max I reckon

They offered Wigan the full 4.4k.
Wigan could not sell that.
So it was reduced to 3.5k.
We should get what we did in 2016 which was 4.4k

 

Think with it been on Jan 4th, if you really want a ticket then you are likely to get one.

 

Think we could sell double that.

How are

as a matter of interest and out of ignorance on my part, whats the criteria for defining categories, we've just got promoted from the khazi league, how are our away games category A ?

 

Because we’re massive

 

Because we'll take a lot of fans. Say in comparison to Exeter who have been in L1 years now.

Category all about locality and numbers.

 

Potential for trouble? Heavier security needed for a bigger crowd etc.

 

Is that down to Wigan giving them more or less te same amount though ???????
Are they gonna do the same for us knowing we will only give the 2.5k ??????

 

That's how some clubs try to justify it. Accrington started doing it a couple of season ago and justified it as they needed to cover the extra cost of police and stewards but really it was just to cash in.
