I maybe wrong but I work out that 16 league away games have been put on sale this season, 14 habe sold out and only 2, Cardiff and Peterbrough had tickets left on the dsy of the game.

We've not really seen that scale of away support for decades.

Of the remaining games I doubt Reading, Port Vale or Wycombe will sell out, but the others will, and I include Exeter due to it being the last game.

Looks like Burton might be cutting the away allocation as they've only given Stockport 1030

Possibly because it's a Tuesday night. Cardiff City got the full higher allocation.

Unless something changes away people might not bother. No doubt we win a few home games and I'm sucked into attending.

You say that but even with our poor awsy form the ticket uptake has been excellent all season

It's also going to be last away game for a lot of fans with the last away game being Exeter and an allocation of only around 1100 so I think a lot of people will want to go for it for that reason. Also if we are in the play offs or looking likely then people will need the loyalty points.

The good thing is Barnsley play the Tuesday before and Tuesday after so that should rule out the game being moved to Thursday or Monday so only chance of TV will be 12:30. I don't think it will be selected for 12:30 either as there are few games I would put above ours. Bolton vs Huddersfield, Reading vs Cardiff and Stevenage vs Lincoln all look like promotion/play off matches then Northampton vs Doncaster could be a relegation 6 pointer.

Could be 2 trips to Devon in a week if Plymouth sneak into top 6 which I think they will.

    Additional Information re Exeter City:
    • Bolton Wanderers, who play at Exeter on Saturday 28 February 2026, received 168 seated tickets and 993 terrace tickets plus an undisclosed number of wheelchair tickets; and
    • for those who like a drink inside the stadium, please note this from Exeter City's website: "Once inside the stadium, alcohol is only served if the away crowd is lower than 700. All kiosks serve a selection of pies, pasties and sausage rolls, as well as chocolate bars, sweets and hot and cold drinks."

So if they sell 701 away tickets , you can not have a pint in that part of the ground
Surely that is discrimination and against the european court of human rights
    Whats all that about.
Not that i drink that often in stadiums, usually overpriced nats water

I suspect it's something to with people moving around in what is a very narrow away end.

I thought it might be the capacity of the area behind the stand from where you can't see the pitch.

Obviously not everyone will want a drink but theoretically, if everyone did, they don't have enough space to stand in without some being able to see the pitch.

What if 2 people don't actually turn up? Do they run round to the offy to get some cans in?

We can’t really complain, there’s no alcohol in the TL Dallas regardless of numbers

But that is because you can not stand with the alcohol and not see the pitch and is known before hand , and always has been
Changing the rules because of potentially 1 extra person is just bizarre

Burton tickets haven't been on sale, think allocation is around 1600 so whenever they go on sale I suspect it''ll go quickly when released to ST holders.
