These are the likely ticket allocations for our League One opponents. These figures are based on the allocations given to some of the better supported sides visiting these grounds in 24/25 and, in a few cases, have been updated to incorporate known changes for 25/26.

    Barnsley 5,018
    Wigan Athletic 4,630
Cardiff City 3,219 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 3,219)
Port Vale 3,010 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 3,100)
Doncaster Rovers 3,000 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 3,000)
Peterborough United 2,358 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 2,358)
Huddersfield Town 2,336 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 2,336)
    Rotherham United 2,223 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 2,181 + 239 EXTRA = 2,420)
    Bolton Wanderers 2,163 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 4,695 + 317 EXTRA = 5,012)
Blackpool 2,140 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 2,131)
    Reading 2,093
Lincoln City 1,790 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 1,682)
Plymouth Argyle 1,738 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 1,770)
Mansfield Town 1,698 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 1,689)
    Wycombe Wanderers 1,687
    Burton Albion 1,630
Northampton Town 1,473 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 1,551)
Stevenage 1,363 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 1,363)
Luton Town 1,344 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 1,342)
Leyton Orient 1,264 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 1,250)
Stockport County 1,193 (EDIT: ACTUAL ALLOCATION 1,201)
    Exeter City 1,167
    Wimbledon 928

That Huddersfield allocation is disappointing. It used to be great having the entire end behind the goal on derby day.

I would imagine Doncaster will go back up to 3,000 for away fans as there won't be enough demand in the home ends to give them a bigger allocation, it's one thing doing it for a one off game and another to do it for a full season especially with so many northern clubs who will bring more than 1,500.

Looking at the games after the Bolton game Stockport upped the away allocation to 1,088 so presume the EFL told them they had to up it for future games. The only issue with Stockport might be if they start work on stadium upgrades and it means part of the stadium has to be closed.

So glad our loyalty over the last 4 years is going to enable me and the lad to go to every away match this next season.

Doncaster Rovers' 2025/26 seating plan does retain the full away sections as per this season, so it does seem that we may get a larger allocation next season. However, that may depend on when we play them, how well they are doing at that time and who their manager is at that time.

I have amended the Stockport away allocation to 1,088, as I agree with your assumption that they have been 'instructed' to do so by the EFL. As for the stadium upgrades, which could temporarily reduce the capacity, it seems their has been a significant delay to their planning application being considered, relating to a dispute over issues with residents parking permits on matchdays, so any development work may not happen in the coming season.

I have amended the original post to reflect the most likely allocations for these two clubs.

Just the upper tier of the South stand is now the norm.

For all those moaning about not having enough loyalty points and it being a ‘closed shop’ to those with most points…there will be plenty of opportunities for you to attend away games this coming season that won’t be sold out to build up your points.

Looking on the FAQs section it looks like it's changing as it says points for next season will be points from 24/25 plus 25/26, if that is the case then going forward you get 1 season's points plus the current season. If this is the case then I think that's fair enough, it rewards those who got the most points last season especially with the poor away form and at the same time going forward it doesn't create a locked in system so younger fans and those who's situations change are given a chance to earn their way into the high brackets for future seasons.

My initial reaction was Reading looks low versus the size of the Madejski, but was surprised to read the capacity is lower than VP.

From my research, Wrexham were given an allocation of 2,093 this season and Bolton recieved 2,111 and these seem to be the standard maximum allocations. However, Birmingham City and Charlton Athletic were given a higher allocation of 2,928.

It seems that Reading tend to give out initial small allocations, rising to a standard maximum of 2,093/2,111 (the lower figure seems to apply to night fixtures and the higher figure to daytime matches). Clubs with very high support (guaranteed sell out) may be given the higher figure of 2,928.

I always thought Bolton was around 5,000. Sure we took that many there a number of years ago.

Huddersfield dissapointing but hopefully increase next season as season ticket sales are slow.
