Game 10 Update:

A decent point for Bradford resulted in a low scoring game in the prediction league. Only 9 people scored any points and no-one predicted a no score draw. These 9 were @Steve1970 @JonButterfield @RonnieBrown @broadsword @Bigrod @Bantam-in-Greece @JimmyBantam @Chapter Two and @Ashton . You all pick up 3 bonus points. As there was no goal the tiebreaker comes down to the first yellow, this was awarded in the 33rd minute which means @Ashtons tiebreak answer of 37mins grabs him the two extra points.

So what has this done to the table, for such a low scoring game there was a fair amount of movement. @Bantam-in-Greece haul demotes @Nick_W_ to second. @broadsword moves upto 3rd moving @farsleybantam down into 4th. @Ashton moves up 5 places to joint 4th, @JimmyBantam moves up 6 places to 13th, @Steve1970 moves up 9 places to 15th. The biggest movers was @Chapter Two who moved up 19 places to 28th while @Bigrod & @JonButterfield moved up 14 places to join @Bratfud at 20th

Game 11 Update:

A good win for City proved to be a great week for a single player. That player not only predicted the result, the score but also the scorer. So well done to @How who not only picked up the maximum score of 6 this week but also picked up all the bonus points for a total haul of 11.

@bantamlad92 @Ricc @Allotment Bantam @Stoneski @Bigrod & @Batmanbantam all managed to get the result and score right so took home a good haul of 5 points

So how did that impact the leaderboard. @Bantam-in-Greece time at the top was a short one with @How rising 5 places to take over first place. @farsleybantam moved up 1 place to join @Nick_W_ in 3rd

Other big risers this round were @Pomfretbantam who moved up 16 places to joint 28th, @Batmanbantam moved up 15 places to joint 33rd, @Ricc & @Allotment Bantam moved up 14 places each to joint 18th, @Stoneski moved up 13 places to joint 42nd and @Toronto Bantam moved up 11 places to joint 56th.

The biggest losers this round were @Bantamsmike @Pineapple Salesman & @Rogered Tart who fell 7 places joint 45th

Game 12 Update:

This week we had a 5-way tie for the best prediction between @RonnieBrown @shoatsy @Hugh Jarse @Bantam-in-Greece @WilsdenBantam & @bradgirl . All 5 predicted that Sunderland would win 2-1. They all pick up 3 bonus points with @RonnieBrown getting the extra 2 for having the closest first goal time minute.

Overall about half of you predicted a loss so there were a decent number of players who added to their total. No-one predicted the goalscorer though meaning those who predicted a win or draw were able to add to their targets.

So now onto how that has impacted the leaderboard. @How time at the top lasted just a single week as @Bantam-in-Greece retook the lead thanks to the 8 points picked up. With the rest of the top 10, we have seen @broadsword move up one to 4th but is joined there by @bradgirl who rises 3 places. @farsleybantam had a scoreless week and drops out the top 3 to 6th place. @Ashton drops 1 place to 7th while @Hugh Jarse jumps into the top 10 with a 5 place rise to 8th. @Lord Bobby falls 2 places to 9th. The top 10 is rounded out by @bantamlad92 who falls 1 place and is joined in 10th by @RonnieBrown who rises 15 places from 25th.

Outside the top10 the biggest riser of the week is @shoatsy who jumps from 45th and into the top20 at a joint 20th place. The next biggest riser was @bantamdave41 who jumped 6 places to 35th. A lot of you jumped 2 or 3 places, too many of you to mention by name.

Game 13 Update:

First of all sorry for the delay in getting this and game 14's update done. The server move delayed things. Game 14's update should be posted later today and I will try and get tonight's game done much quicker

I was watching the scoring of this game against Accrington live and it was a real topsy-turvy game. The top of the leaderboard changed countless times but by the time the final whistle blew it was pretty much status quo. There were only 3 position changes in the top 10. @bradgirl dropped 1 place to 5th and was joined there by @Ashton who jumped 2 places and @farsleybantam who jumped 1 place.

The best prediction of the week was @River_City_Bantam who correctly predicted the 3-1 loss. This resulted in a 14 place rise to joint 12th

Well, this wasn't a high scoring game. Only 7 of you scored any points at all ( @AndyRanger @Lord Bobby @Klepton @bantamdave41 @Rogered Tart @River_City_Bantam and @RonnieBrown)

Of those the closest prediction was a 1-2 loss which saw @Klepton @River_City_Bantam and @RonnieBrown pick up the 3 bonus points. The winner of the tie break was @River_City_Bantam who for the second game in a row picked up the full bonus points.

hmm. The total is correct for certain, just seems the combined column was missing one of the columns. strange thing is its not on the one after the Coventry match which I will up posting later and I didn't change anything apart from add the next column

 

Game 15 Update:

A large number of you scored points this game but there wasn't a significant amount of position changes. @broadsword moved up one place to 3, knocking @Nick_W_ down 1 to joint 4th with @River_City_Bantam who moved up 1 place

The biggest mover was @Hulmebantam with a 15 place rise to joint 16th thanks to the 1-4 loss prediction being by far the closest resulting in picking up all the bonus points. The next biggest riser was @Jay who scored his first points which jumped up 7 places to joint 62. Is this Jay making a delayed run for the title

It’s taking longer for the whole thing to process. The script crawls the thread, compiled the entries and puts them into a spreadsheet where all the working is done. The spreadsheet though is getting pretty large and slow to access so it’s slowing down the importing of the data and then opening it so I can double check. Next season (if not before) I’m going to have to look at splitting it into multiple spreadsheets I think and having a master one pull data from them all.

Anyway the leaderboard should be up to tomorrow as I’ve almost completed the checking of entries (and fixing a few the script had issues with)

 

Game 16 Update:

I was looking to do a bigger update for this match but there wasn't a great deal of movement. The movement that did occur was mainly caused by this weeks highest scorer @Tony Wilkinson . He correctly predicted a 4-0 loss which got him both the maximum possible score plus the full set of bonus points which catapulted him up up 15 places to joint 21st. That knocked alot of people down some places

Inside the top10 there were only 3 movements. @RonnieBrown who was in joint 6th place going into the weekend dropped 1 place to 7th thanks to @Ashton adding 2 points to his score. @Hugh Jarse and @Lord Bobby who were joint 10th both added 2 points to their score to join the tie for 8th along side @bradgirl & @farsleybantam
