I don't have access to my PC so I can't grab the bot output so it won't be today and with the next game only being a couple of days I'll probably do it after Saturdays game

 

Game 1 Update

Well, that didn't go to plan now did it? Of the 103 entries, 98 of you predicted a City win. With 1 person predicting a loss that means only 4 people correctly predicted a draw,

These 4 are @Nottsy, @Frank Castle, @zico and @Ashton. They all predicted a 1-1 draw so get 2 points for the draw and 3 bonus points for having the closest prediction. As it was a no-score draw the tie-break was decided on the minute of the first booking, in this case, the 61st Minute red card of which @Nottsy prediction of the 61st minute was closest. So he picks up the extra 2 points to take an early lead as well as a copy of Football Manager 2020 upon release in November. Just leave a reply confirming you wish to claim the prize.

At the other end of the table, we have @BrotherBantam. He took the high-risk strategy of predicting a 6-0 win. If City had scored a few he would have been well placed to pick up some good points but with the penalties for each incorrect scorer when predicting 6 or more goals it proved to be a bad move. He ends Game 1 on minus 6. While he has made it harder on himself there is still plenty of matches to make that up

Game 4 Update

It may have been a scrappy win but a scrappy win is still saw most of you adding more points to your total (Although @BrotherBantam didn't add any so is still on a minus figure, will he get into positive numbers by the end of the season lol)

We had a few of you predict a 1 nill City win, although none of you were bold enough to predict an own goal. With that best predition that scored them 5 points @Ricky @Nottsy @Park bantam @Bratfud @Gardscoigne @zico @The Granby Mullet @NorthernMonkey Mr Knows Football (aka @How ) @LincolnBantam each pick up 3 bonus points. @Ricky who was just a single minute out on the tiebreak and picks up an additional 2 bonus points

There is still too much movement to do a full (or even a prize position) update but I will do a top10 update. First of all though a special mention to the biggest risers this round, both who jumped 61 places. @Gardscoigne went from 86th to 25th while @NorthernMonkey went from 80th to 19th.

In the top 10 we had two people drop out who both ended up joint 16th. @Tony Wilkinson fell 6th place from 10th while @BoingBoing fell 11 places from 5th. In 9th we have a 6 way tie. @Ricky jumps 37 places while @zico jumps 21 places. @WilsdenBantam @Bruce Bannister @Meltham Massive & @Offcomedun all drop 4 places

@Idlebantam & @Bigrod also drop 4 places from their previous joint 3rd to 7th.

Jumping up 10 places we have @How @Nottsy & @Park bantam who join last games joint leader @andybars in joint 3rd. Moving into 2nd is @Bratfud with a 9 place rise which leaves @The Granby Mullet in the lead for another week

We are only 4 games in though so still plenty of points for everyone to play for. @How charge though has to be getting people a little worried

Game 7 Update

Well that was a rollercoaster of a round, for 70mins it looked like it was going to be a bad round for some of you but by the final whistle it had turned around for these people. And there was more drama to come even after the final whistle with the goal that was given as an Own Goal went to the dubious goals panel before being awarded to Donaldson instead. This took what was a 12-way tie when it was an OG to a 6 tie (while robbing @bantamlad92 of an extra point for predicted an OG)

The closest predictions were for a 2-1 win and Donaldson scoring which picked them up 6 points. For making the best prediction @Meltham Massive @Hugh Jarse @Frank Castle @Offcomedun @WilsdenBantam @Pineapple Salesman all pick up an extra 3 bonus points with @Hugh Jarse picking up an extra 2 for having the closest tiebreak answer

We are still at the stage where every round sees so many position changes that detailing them all would take longer to read than it takes to watch a match so I'll just detail the prize places. The full list of movements can be seen in the table below

Dropping out of the prize places are @bantamJS @bantam2708 and @Bronco who from joint 25th to joint 27th. (Where they are joined by @RonnieBrown @RCarol @Mighty Bantam who each rose 9 places)

In Joint 23rd we have @LincolnBantam (down 8), @Gardscoigne (also down 8) and @Keefly Bantam (Who gained 2 points but stayed in 23rd)

In 22nd we have @Idlebantam who failed to add any points and fell 12 places from 10th

In Joint 18th we have @SteveC who jumped 7 places, @zico who fell 10 places while @Ricky and @Tony Wilkinson both fell 8 places.

In joint 16th we have @Nottsy who took a massive 12 place drop from last weeks joint 4th and @broadsword who falls 1 place

The biggest riser in the top 25 is @Frank Castle who jumped 18 places to 13th where he is joined by @Bigrod (down 5) and @Steve1970 (down 3)

In 12th is @How who fell 8 places. Is he showing he is less Edin and more GB

In 9th we see @Bruce Bannister and @Bantam-in-Greece rise 1 place while @Park bantam falls

@andybars falls 4 places from last weeks joint 4th to a solo 8th while @WilsdenBantam & @Meltham Massive move up 9 places into joint 6th.

In the top 5 @Offcomedun moves up 5 places to 5th, @Hugh Jarse jumps 11 places to 4th, @Bratfud falls 2 places to 3rd, @The Granby Mullet stays in 2nd and that means rising 2 places @Pineapple Salesman takes the lead

@ConnecticutBantam had the best prediction this round correctly predicting a 2-2 draw and getting one of the scorers (Vaughan) correct. For that they pick up 5 bonus points for a total haul of 11

I did write Game 11's update, was sure I clicked submit but apparently I didn't. Will write it again when I get a moment and then do game 12. I'm a bit snowed under with work at the moment though so Game 12 might be a couple of days

 

Game 14
While a number of people predicted a 2-1 win for city only two people managed to predict a correct goalscorer for a 6 point haul. This see's @Hugh Jarse pick up 3 bonus point while @Pinapple Salesman picks ip 5 bonus points on the tiebreaker.

Game 15
While the majority of you picked up a point for correctly predicting Vaughan to scorer we only had a single prediction of a loss. This was from @bantamdave41 who not only predicted a loss but also a 1-2 loss with Vaughan scoring. With 6 points for the prediction and 5 bonus points that gives a total haul this round of 11 points

Game 16
Mixed back of predictions this round with an 8 way tie for the best prediction (2-0 win with a ONE correct goalscorer). These 8 were @Bronco @ConnecticutBantam @Starbar @Fools Gold @Chrisako @Bigrod @Offcomedun & @dcbantam. On the tiebreaker we had @Starbar predict the first goal in the 30th minute and @Chrisako in the 32nd minute so both just a minute out. On the basis of submitting the entry first @Starbar gets the extra 2 bonus points

A no-score draw never results in the biggest haul of points and no-one predicted the correct score but we saw 11 players share first place by predicted a 1-1 draw. The following 10 players all actually pick up more bonus points (3) than they scored for their prediction (2)

Game 22

Another no-score draw so another low scoring round. A handful of you predicted a score draw but we only had one best prediction where @bantamlad92 correctly predicted a 0-0 draw. He picks up 5 points and 5 bonus points for a total of 10

Leaderboard Movement

Outside the top 25, we had some big jumpers over these 3 matches. Some of the most noticeable are @Dratsab taf (Up 11 to 81st), @Rogered Tart (Up 17 to 62nd), @bantamlad92 (up 20 to 53rd) and @bantamdave41 (up 13 to 27th). There were plenty of other movements lower down though so check the table below.

Now lets go through the movements in the top25

@JimmyBantam falls out of the top 25 with a 4 place fall to 29th. @andybars falls 5 places to 26th.

In 25th we have @Starbar whose 3 place drop just keeps a top 25 place.

In joint 21st we have @Pablo (Down 2) @QCFC BANTAM (Down 2) @Ricc (Up 10) and @Mighty Bantam (Up 4)

@Steve1970 falls 2 places to 20th

In 19th we have @bantamJS with a 5 place rise.

Joint 17th is @Bronco (down 6) and @Rudie (Unchanged)

Falling 4 places to 16th we have @Meltham Massive while falling 6 places to 15th we have @Bantams Lelant

@Idlebantam jumps 9 places to 14th.

Continuing his rise back up the leaderboard is @How who is now just 1 place outside the top10.

Occupying 10th place is @RCarol (down 4) while @ajmellu7 jumps 6 places to 9th

@broadsword is in 8th (down 3), @Bigrod is 7th (Down 1), @Tony Wilkinson is in 6th (Down2) and @Bruce Bannister is in 5th (down 3)

@SteveC picked up 13 points and saw him jump 12 places to 4th

And now we have the biggest shock for a while, @Pineapple Salesman has been in the lead for a while now but drops down to joint 2nd. At the end of Game 21 @Hugh Jarse was in the lead due to @Pineapple Salesman picking up no points in game 20 and 21 but the single point he picked up in Game 22 brought them level.

Both were leapfrogged by our new leader @Interested Bystander who jumped 8 places.

The battle for the first place though is really on, only 12 points separate @Interested Bystander in 1st and @ajmellu7 in 10th. There have been times where @Interested Bystander lead to second has been this big so things are getting really interesting.
